"They were pricy, but came highly recommended. They were prompt in scheduling. Their main selling point is the quality of the prep cleaning. While the new deck looked OK, there were missed areas on the existing porch. The quality of the staining itself was variable - there were areas where they did a great job, and others that were missed, overlooked, or intentionally ignored. The eaves were among the intentionally ignored, and I was told "that's defined as part of the roof structure, which isn't included." Excuse me, but the contract says "clean and stain exterior of screen porch" - it does not say "screen porch walls only." Another ignored area was the top edge of the fascia and floorboards, which they stained above, and below, leaving a gap. And there were several other spots that were overlooked even after a visit to complete punch list items. I asked multiple times to talk to the owner but he never called me back. Next time I'll just hire a real house painter."

Each day I was told what they would work on, how long it would take, and what time they would arrive the following day. The price I paid was exactly what was I quoted. The details are incredible. The framing, the new wall, the ceiling, and the painting was all impeccably done. They cleaned up the extra supplies that were no longer needed every day, and did a thorough clean once the project was completed. Please do yourself a favor if you live in Wake County, call Jose. He's amazing, honest, has an incredible work ethic and is extremely knowledgable at what he does. I already have a new list of things for them to work on once time and budget permit. I'm so glad I chose JS Home Improvement over any other company who bid my project. The reason I am his first reviewer is because he has recently gone into business for himself, but he has 20 years of experience. I wish I could write another review, because I certainly would."
