"GE Tucker was hired to remodel a very poorly designed bathroom to accommodate my particular needs as an amputee. George spent a considerable amount of time in listening to me and inspecting the site. (This was something that none of the "National Name" contractors did). Only then did he submit a bid for the project. He was not the cheapest - just the most thorough. Throughout the project he and Sam kept me fully informed and it was a pleasure to watch these two craftsmen transform my bathroom. The final touch was Sam's beautiful tile work. Excellent work, performed on time, and within budget."

Customers say: True professional

"Mark, Mark, and Mason showed up on time to assemble two TV stands, and to help me unbox/set up TV. They Introduced themselves and told me a little bit about the business. The project was completed carefully and efficiently. I felt very safe having them come to my home and extremely satisfied with the results. The work that they provided for me comes very recommended. I will be calling back for further needs. Again thanks for the great work and the warm professionalism ."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

It is possible to restore a filled-in pool. If you want to dig up and repair a filled-in pool in your backyard, the process will cost about the same as the cost of installing a new in-ground pool. You might do this if the filled-in pool is causing sinking, swelling, or drainage issues in your yard. A new pool may resolve these problems and increase your property value.

You'll feel the most comfortable in pool water between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Lower temperatures are a bit brisk, while higher temperatures can lead to algae and cloudy pool water. Choose a pool heater that either runs automatically when your water dips below 78 or switch it on several hours before using the pool for the day.

Baking soda can help to clear your cloudy pool water if the alkalinity or pH is too low. Adding baking soda to your pool will increase the alkalinity and help bring your pH levels to a more comfortable range. Be sure to test the water as you add baking soda.

There are three types of pool filters—cartridge, sand, and D.E. (diatomaceous earth). Cartridge and sand filters are the most popular types and are affordable and easy to maintain. D.E. filters are more expensive and require more maintenance, but they are also very good at filtering out small particles.

A fiberglass pool lasts up to 30 to 50 years with proper maintenance. For the longest possible lifespan, keep your pool water pH as close to seven as possible. Test your water levels regularly, run your pool filter daily, and avoid draining the pool. Once your pool is 20 to 30 years old, you can prolong the lifespan by refinishing the shell.
