"This is probably THE BEST service I have ever received in my life. I contacted Edwin through a web form after researching online for inground concrete pool installation. Edwin called me the next day (it was Sunday when I filled out the form). Edwin is the owner of this business and is one of the nicest people on earth. Very courteous, polite and above all the consummate professional. We talked about my project and my budget and he came out that day to take a look at our backyard. Within a week, we had a contract and Edwin explained the timeline. the process and everything that would be involved in building a pool. And believe me, there is A LOT involved. It is a huge undertaking and with the right contractor, it can be a breeze but with the wrong contractor it can turn into a nightmare. And that was my fear to begin with. But Edwin simply 'melted' those fears because he is such a professional. His crew, everyone, from Carl (the heavy equipment operator) to Uve (I hope I got his name right - the site manager) to Adam (the electrician) and all the other sub contractors that came to our yard, they were all the consummate professionals. We broke ground in the third week of October (after signing the contract in August - it takes a few weeks for the City of Raleigh to open the permit) and believe me, by New Year Edwin was going to put water in our pool :). We had to slow him down and ask him to push the time line a bit because we simply did not want the start up process to happen during winter, not that there is anything wrong with that. Edwin listened and responded to all of our requests with such care and attention. He was on top of things, he responds to texts and made sure that all of our permitting inspections pass without any issues. If you ever thinking of putting a pool, please, please, please do your diligence and research and make sure to hire the right contractor because the process is so complex and having the right contractor, like Edwin, makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I would be more than happy to speak with whomever in more detail if they want a reference for Edwin. I can talk hours about our experience with him and it is ALL GOOD. Edwin and his team are probably one of the best contractors in NC when it comes to pools. They know their stuff so well and trust me, THAT IS SOOO IMPORTANT in a project of such magnitude. "Screen Medics visited my home, along with several other contractors for a project to screen our covered patio. From the beginning their team approach was impressive. Their web site is informative, fully lays out your options and describes their process and materials. During the site visit their professional discussed our ideas, needs, and desired outcome and presented options for our project. The quote we received was timely and the price was much lower than other options while moving us from wood to an all aluminum structure. We had lots of questions and their team of Heather and Rich were amazing. At one point we had concerns about permits and home owner association approval and they obtained confirmation from our local city inspector office that no permit was required, where the other companies would not discuss permits or charged a flat fee for permits, even though they were not needed. We set a date and then they were flexible as we adjusted based on the HOA approval date. On the day of our installation a father and son team arrived with all the materials needed for the screening. The father was experienced and his son displayed the attention to detail that comes from proper training and development. They worked through the day and encountered a few issues based on the patio and support structure of our supports. They solved those, but approaching darkness required them to return the next day and finished in a very short time before moving onto the next job. Our results with the full aluminum frame construction including the pickets, the quality of the screening and the excellent door to the back yard were outstanding. We have been using this new outdoor space extensively and really appreciate the Screen Medics professional approach throughout the process. We would recommend them for any screening project."
