"Sergii was very professional, flexible, communicated well, and was able to pull off my vision for a black marble fireplace without cracking a single piece of tile. "Jacob did an excellent job. The house is mostly brick. He cleaned the brick and the trim and some painted wood work and vinyl gutters. This work had not been done since we built the house over 30 years ago. The result made it look new again. He had a good crew and they all took care. My biggest concern was accidentally blowing water into the wall cavities and attic. They made sure that didn’t happen. Yes I would and I will hire them again."

No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. Thinset mortar is the best adhesive for ceramic tiles on concrete. It is easy to work with and has a slower dry time than mastic or epoxy mortars.
