Doggone Dry did a wonderful job waterproofing my basement and installing a sump pump. Josh explained everything that needed to be done and exceeded those expectations when completing the job. They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. They also took the time to make sure my basement looked better and cleaner than it was before they came. I was having quite a bit of water come in through the basement walls. Since the water proofing was done we have had heavy down pours, several tropical storms and a hurricane and the basement and crawl space have been dry.

So far so GREAT! Work has been scheduled. Will report back again after all is done. The knowledge and Customer service has been WAY beyond expectations (more than 5 stars!) . It is one of those situations where you can just tell that the knowledge is so strong there is no need for a hard sell or excuses. Hard to compare prices - except to say that I feel that Josh and Hannah have offered me the very best option to address the water in our crawl space. I could have paid a helluva lot more or a little less with the other companies I got estimates from - but those were not options that fully address the issue. Josh explained each piece of what he was proposing and was / is open to doing a little or as much as I wanted to do. It really helped me feel confident about my decision - not only what I chose to do, but with the company I have chosen to do the work.

I had Coastal Crawl Space Solutions complete a crawl space encapsulations and found them to provide a high quality product while being very professional. When quoting the work they were timely and competitive. They were not the lowest bid but close enough to look at. Bottom line I went with them because I believed they would do the best job and I was right. First they removed all material from under the house and graded the sand. Next the plastic material was 12 mils (20% thicker then competitors). All piers and walls were covered too within 6 inches of the top ( it is code to stop there) and then a silicon seal applied at the very top. Both the ground and walls were anchored with plastic anchors and all seems were taped. The vents were covered with 3 inch insulation board a and sealed with silicone. The only negative was the job did take a couple weeks from start to finish but that was more to shipping problems. Josh always kept me in formed as to the progress and what/when the next step would be. The crew was alway respectable and understood they were guest in my house. I recommend Coastal Crawl Space to anyone.

Coastal Crawl Space Solutions Cleaned up water intrusion coming thru the foundation. They installed a french drain and sump pump, and cleaned the entire encapsulated space. The work was completed on a professional and timely basis. Definitely, worth 5 stars. I would recommend this contractor as one of the best in the area.

Company was hired for mobile home encapsulation. Excellent company who worked hard in a space in which many would not do a thorough work. Company was always professional and courteous as well as easy to work with. Would recommend them.

I hired Josh and company to fix a slight sag in the kitchen floor from prior homeowner negligence. Josh called me back within an hour or two of leaving a message (first good sign in Wilmington!) and scheduled a time to come take a look at my issue. He showed up when he said, gave me a fair quote and was extremely friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable asking my multitude of questions. I could tell he genuinely wanted to do the work and do a stand up job. After getting a couple other estimates, I decided to give Coastal a try. They did they work they said they would do with the results they promised and left the place cleaner than before they started work. Completely different story than the other contractor I had do the encapsulation years ago. A big thing for me too was who was doing the work. Josh and Josh (owners) did the work, as opposed to an estimator who prices the job and a crew with no prior or intimate knowledge of the issue and conversations on the front end. This was a huge selling point - the owners were directly involved from start to finish. 100% satisfied. I would absolutely hire them again and will recommend Coastal any chance I get.
