"Within 5 minutes of putting in the work order I received a call asking about my situation of the past 2 days of backed up plumbing and a "pool" in my shower, each of the toilets, and bathtub!! My house literally smelled raw sewage. I let the receptionist know, then she said she would report to her boss. Within maybe 15 minutes I received the call from the boss and he asked me several more detailed questions. He then told me his team would be here as soon as they finished the job they're on today. YES TODAY !! I spoke to 4 other companies they all said 1-2 weeks!!! The team showed up both were professional and they actually had personality which is unique now adays. Within 2 hours this awesome team checked, deduced, hydro-jetted, and found 2 issues of the reason for the clog and back up. So not only was this company and each person I spoke with polite, professional, and personable... The price was lower than any of the other companies !!!! I can't say enough praise for my encounter with this company"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

You should replace your toilet at least every 25 years. While toilets are pretty sturdy appliances, they don’t last forever. Even if you aren’t ready to invest in the cost of a bathroom remodel yet, just replacing your toilet will help freshen up your space and keep your bathroom functioning.

The cost depends on the parts, labor, extent of damage, and whether extensive plumbing modifications are required. Typical repairs cost $150-$300.

The toilet flange anchors to the subfloor, usually with wood screws or cement screws, but most of it should sit above floor level at full height. When a flange is flush with the subfloor or below it, it can lead to the creation of leak paths.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Many parts of your plumbing system can fail, but clogged drains are one of the biggest plumbing problems you’ll likely encounter. From your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, or bathtub, there are plenty of opportunities for gunk, hair, food scraps, and more to get stuck in drains. When this happens, water will slowly drain, leading to standing water, bad odors, drain flies, and other issues.

Many homeowners can handle a minor clog themselves, but if you have a clog in your main line, you’re best off hiring a local plumber to get the drain back to its normal flow rate.
