I was nervous about hiring a contractor but Hugo was recommended by a friend. « Go with Hugo, he did a superb job of carpentry in my house ! ». I am so grateful to her! I did hire Hugo. As for his work, the words “top-notch”, “first-rate” come to mind. He and his crew are outstanding professionals. The whole construction was done with such care and proficiency. My husband and I are delighted with the result. Hugo’s work was not inexpensive but I did not want to end up with a car port ! Considering that we got exactly what we wanted, with the quality of both material and workmanship, we felt it was a fair deal. Also, I appreciated Hugo’s passion for his own work and the advice of an experienced builder. As a bonus, he was completely trustworthy, showing up when he said he would, meeting all date-lines, explaining small delays while waiting for Inspections from our County, etc… and taking care of “everything”, like permits or attending to last minute requests. And then, there is another aspect of the total experience: giving us peace of mind instead of worries.. That, to me, was very valuable."

"This company came to my home for the one year check on my newly built house. They sent someone who was not qualified to do the work. He shut off my gas stating there was a gas leak. He said he could not repair it and I would have to wait till the next day. It was a Friday evening and 36 degrees outside. I called another company who came out within the hour and found the gas valve unwired, set to off, and the input test screw filled with silicon. The new company cleared this out and found there is no leaks. They even cleaned up after the Carolina Comfort. There are 2 regulators which intermittently vent a small amount of gas which is normal. I do not recommend Carolina Comfort to anyone. They do not call their customers back. Their service tech was rude and yelling stating he was not going to jail for manslaughter. Unbelievable experience!"

"We were very happy with the work completed by Leon Home Repairs. They were efficient and thorough. The work included installing a new countertop, sink, faucet,, and light fixture in one bathroom and painting the bathroom; removing painted wallpaper from one large wall and smoothing and painting the wall; replacing one set of bifold closet doors and trimming off and adjusting multiple other sets so they would operate smoothly; and replacing large window panels and the door in our front entryway. Dimas, who served as the foreman for the work on our house, also smelled gas in our utility closet and on his own initiative, figured out where the gas leak was and showed us, so we could call someone to come repair that. The team had an excellent range of skills and knowledge to tackle the variety of work we needed them to do. We will definitely call Leon Home Repairs again if we need more work done in the future."

"Our home required rotten wood to be replaced in a number of areas that were exposed to water runoff from poorly installed gutters. Heath did an initial assessment of the work required but advised it could change once he got behind the rotten boards to see the extent of the damage. Of course there were more replacements needed and the price went up but in the end he and his team did a great job getting the work completed. Would definitely hire H&H again in the future."

"Mr. Mcneil went out of his way to come at the end of a long day on a Friday evening to repair my furnace because the weather was predicted to be cold over the weekend. Originally he had said he would come on Monday, but he said he realized that the weather would make it an uncomfortable weekend for me and came after 6 PM to help me out. So I was comfortable all weekend because of his concern. He fixed the problem with in a half an hour. Also because of the Pandemic, I really appreciated his effort to stay far away from me and to not come into my house. We communicated by phone or at a great distance outside. This was very much appreciated."
