He said the price of that was 2800.00 I was like I ca not afford that, so maybe another time. He told me he would charge me 1500,00 to do the whole job. He said he would give me a first responders discount, I told him I work in the Emergency Department at a hospital, plus I was still in my uniform when I met him, I had just gotten off of work. He said that he counts that as a first responder. Then, he said he would give me a first time customers discount and the total went from 2800.00 to 1500.00 but I had a water line directly over the tank and he could not do the risers, but he still charged me 1500.00. I felt like I was ripped off! It had to be cleaned out and I just wanted to get it done so that I could shower and go to sleep. He came out on a Monday morning a little after 9am. It was not a holiday or weekend. He did not do any extra work that would have cost 1500.00. I was confused and just paid him. Even though I felt like he was ripping me off. He did clean out all the materials inside of my septic tank. He was friendly and explained how the septic tank worked. I still feel like I triple paid for a job."
