"Mark did an excellent job. He cares about his work and wants to make sure you are satisfied. While providing and estimate he took note of a gutter that needed to be replaced and gave me an excellent price. I asked about a chimney cap and he came back to do that as well. I was more than pleased with the services provided and would definitely hire again!"

"Stuart showed up when he said he would.  Went on the roof... came back down - reported what needed to be done.  Replaced the rubber thingys that day.  all was good.  Thank You  (Now with that said.. I'm waiting for a really good rain to make sure the leak is fixed but... I'm pretty confident it will be.)

"We used Anna for a deep clean ahead of putting our house on the market - she and her team were prompt, professional and polite. They did such a great job that we hired Anna again to clean our house following our move and were once again thrilled with the service and results. It is obvious Anna, her husband and team take pride in their work. Anna was constantly asking for feedback (How does everything look? Anything we missed? Any concerns you want us to specifically address?). I would highly recommend New Vibes cleaning!"

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible for small projects, but professional installation ensures proper sealing, structural integrity, and a precise finish.

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.

Glass block mortar is the best choice for glass block window units. It is specifically formulated for glass block window installation. Glass block mortar is usually a mixture of Portland cement, sand, and special chemicals. It is a white mortar that is applicable inside and outside your home. Do not use regular tile mortar because it may not have the binding strength and flexibility required for glass block windows.

Options include tempered, laminated, and tinted glass for various needs.
