"KEY PRESSURE WASH CONTACTED ME. AFTER I TOLD HIM WHAT I NEED HE GAVE ME A PRICE AND TOLD ME HE WOULD COME TO MY HOUSE THE NEXT DAY. WHICH HE DID AT THE TIME HE SAID HE WOULD. MY HOUSE WAS VERY DIRTY ON THE SUN AS I HAD NOT HAD IT CLEANED IN SEVERAL YEARS. I WAS CONCERNED HOW WELL IT COULD BE CLEANED. JOEL SAID NO PROBLEM SO I TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD. SEVERAL HOURS LATER THE HOUSE LOOKED LIKE NEW. HE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB THAT I INQUIRED ABOUT CLEANING OUR DECK WAS HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN 25 YEARS AND WAS MOSTLY BLACK. HE EXPLAINED THE PROCESS TO GET IT BACK TO LOOKING LIKE NEW. WE AGREED ON A PRICE AND A DATE TO START THE JOB. MORE TO COME."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

When you deep clean your washing machine, using hot water is the best practice since it’s more effective than cold water at killing various types of bacteria and viruses. Plus, hot water tends to break down soap residue more efficiently.

You can certainly utilize a pressure washer to effectively clean your garage floor. If you're dealing with oily residue, consider adding a degreaser to the pressure washer solution. Prior to using the pressure washer, make sure to thoroughly sweep the garage floor to eliminate any loose dirt or debris.

Begin the pressure washing process from the back of your garage, which is closest to your home, and work your way towards the front. This ensures that the water and dirt are directed outside. In case you've applied a cleanser or degreaser, it's a good idea to give the floor another pass with clean water using the pressure washer to ensure a thorough rinse.

This process doesn’t necessarily require soap or detergent, but it definitely helps. You can get by with just using water, but remember, brick requires a lower-than-average pressure level when compared to concrete, so forgoing detergent increases the time it takes to spot clean stains and debris once you finish with the pressure washer. Brick is especially porous, so the less water you use on it, the better.

Costs depend on surface material, level of grime, accessibility, labor, and required cleaning agents.

You can get more pressure out of your pressure washer by adjusting the pressure control knob clockwise to increase pressure (+). You can also check your nozzle for debris and clogs and remove anything you find with needle nose pliers. Switch to a nozzle with a lower-degree spray angle or a turbo nozzle to achieve more pressure at the tip. Check for leaks in the hose and connections, and make sure your water supply is offering enough pressure.
