"It hasn't stopped raining this summer, but that didn't keep Gerry and DDK from completing my new deck as scheduled. I found DDK through Angi's list, and Gerry was quick to both respond and come out and quote a deck project right away. We started the next Monday which was great, as my old deck was falling apart. Gerry even repaired a part of siding that was rotting and added flashing to keep moisture out. I'm really pleased with our new sturdy deck - it's beautiful and safe and I can't wait to see it stained in a few weeks. I would absolutely recommend Gerry and DDK!"

"Ken and his crew from Magnolia did a renovation of our large (900 sq ft, 18-foot elevation) 17-year-old deck which included new decking wood, new railing with horizontal stainless steel wire, new stair treads & risers. Most importantly, they dug out 15 support posts (6X6 wood, which had been placed directly in the ground and were beginning to rot) and properly placed them on above-ground poured concrete piers. Additionally, another 6 posts and support beam were added. I do believe you could drive a truck on the deck now. The crew worked tirelessly, completing this large project promptly. Their work was professional and craftsman-like, and the work area was kept clean. We are very happy with our new deck!"

"Let me start with: HIRE PAPERTOWN. You will be grateful you did so. I can not say enough about Marcus and his incredible work ethic, a rarity these days. I had a different pressurewash group cancel a few minutes before their appointment time. I went back on Angi’s and found Papertown Powerwash. I explained I was having an operation in an hour and wouldn’t be able to walk him through my needs, but texted him a list. He came out and quietly walked my property, then called me later in the day with a quote- the quote is exactly what I’ve paid in the past so that felt reassuring. I called him on Tuesday and by Friday afternoon had my home squeaky clean. He took extra care working on my old house in the woods, making sure it looked it’s best. One of my best friends was here helping me. He has been in construction over 50 years. He was doing a few things on my house too and noted how kind Marcus is, offering to help if he needed his ladder moved and other things. My friend came in and said, “You know, it’s not often people go out of their way to help people. I really liked how Marcus spoke to me, how kind he was.” I’m still recovering from surgery, but went out and spoke to Marcus myself. I completely agree with his assessment. Marcus is forthright, kind, helpful and wow- my home, fence, and decks have never looked better. I told Marcus to please come back in the spring for touch up and again next fall after the leaves drop. I’m so glad that other contractor canceled. Lol. I’m a client for life."

"Josh was impressive from the very beginning. I needed to repair deck boards from several decks that had failed or discolored due to sun exposure or other issues. It was a bit complicated because the failed boards were along the deck perimeter and required the dismantling of deck railing and other parts. Josh found the sole manufacturer of the boards (in Canada) and located distributers in the US and sorted out the delivery logistics...not a fun task. He called me and we discussed various options and came to an agreement on the cost and timing which I thought was very reasonable. Josh didn't require money up front and I knew he was a man of his word, and he clearly knew how to handle and manage the work. Josh and his team arrived on the agreed date and completed the work in two days. They did an impressive job and made some changes that were improvements over the original installation. They also uncovered a few minor construction issues which they repaired. Josh is top of my call list!"

All the other contractors I had come out asked me what I wanted to do and Boyce assessed the situation with my deck and told me what we needed to do. I had two other contractors from angis list out and neither even considered these things that needed to be addressed. Once we discussed all estimates and contractors Boyce and Gault services was the one to go with. Now that the project is complete we couldn’t be more satisfied with the work they did.
