He came out and helped identify the problem areas with our sagging deck on a steep mountain grade and came up with a solution and at a price that would guarantee the longevity of our mountain log home. He sent pictures as work progressed (we were out of town while work was performed) so we felt comfortable that the work that was recommended by our engineer was going to be repaired beyond our expectations. "Josh was impressive from the very beginning. I needed to repair deck boards from several decks that had failed or discolored due to sun exposure or other issues. It was a bit complicated because the failed boards were along the deck perimeter and required the dismantling of deck railing and other parts. Josh found the sole manufacturer of the boards (in Canada) and located distributers in the US and sorted out the delivery logistics...not a fun task. He called me and we discussed various options and came to an agreement on the cost and timing which I thought was very reasonable. Josh didn't require money up front and I knew he was a man of his word, and he clearly knew how to handle and manage the work. Josh and his team arrived on the agreed date and completed the work in two days. They did an impressive job and made some changes that were improvements over the original installation. They also uncovered a few minor construction issues which they repaired. Josh is top of my call list!"

All the other contractors I had come out asked me what I wanted to do and Boyce assessed the situation with my deck and told me what we needed to do. I had two other contractors from angis list out and neither even considered these things that needed to be addressed. Once we discussed all estimates and contractors Boyce and Gault services was the one to go with. Now that the project is complete we couldn’t be more satisfied with the work they did. "Our project involved replacing decking, pickets, risers, treads, and stringers, on a 12 year old PT pine wood double deck that spans two sides of our home, along with straightening the 6 x 6 vertical support posts. The estimate for the project was well under the final price due to many items on the deck that needed to be replaced but could not be seen until removed. The work crew varied from two men to as many as five on any given day and they were very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional in their approach to the project. The owner kept in constant communications with us regarding delays or days in which work could not be accomplished due to weather conditions or other issues. Even though the project was well over budget, in the end we felt we had a quality project with no short cuts and a renewed deck that should last many years into the future.."
