SOUTH CAROLINA PLUMBING & GAS LLC. is a diverse, local, and family-owned plumbing and gas company . We Serve all of South Carolina and we take pride in providing top-of-the-line plumbing services to help you keep your property in good shape all year round.

"Two weeks went by and they never called. Finally on the 17th, fed up with an inadequate supply of hot water, we contacted the warranty co. again. They called him and he phoned right away. He made excuses that he left a message with a wrong number. He booked us for Pres Day. But approaching the window of time he was supposed to come, we called to confirm to see if he’d call before coming or not and then he made excuses and pulled out, cancelled on us for some vague reasoning at the last minute. Unprofessional, irresponsible, and lied about his message to a fake number. No I wouldn’t use them nor recommend them! The warranty company had to find us another plumber. Still waiting for a resolution 22 days later."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Shut-off valves, like any other piece of metal hardware, can corrode, age, get worn down, and eventually break or rust into place. Occasionally spray your shut-off valve with WD-40 to stall it from rusting. If it really gets stuck, a wrench and WD-40 will usually do the trick, but you will need to call a plumber if it’s completely unmovable.

The cost to convert a wood fireplace to gas ranges from $500 to $5,500 on average, with most people paying $3,000 for a conversion. Both wood and gas fireplaces have pros and cons—gas fireplaces are easier to clean and maintain, while fires in wood-burning fireplaces are especially warm and cozy.

Propane tanks are professionally installed by assessing the site for safety, placing it correctly, connecting it securely, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

This is a matter of personal preference, as each method has its own pros and cons. Oil furnaces are safer, but the smell can be off-putting to some consumers. Oil is also more expensive than gas. However, oil furnaces boast a higher BTU rate per hour, so a smaller amount of oil can heat a larger space when compared to a gas furnace.

Before you hire a natural gas plumber, it’s a good idea to get quotes from multiple pros to find the best value. When speaking with prospective plumbers, ask them if they’re licensed to work with gas lines, what precautions they take to ensure safety during the project, and how to handle an emergency if there’s a leak after the job. You may also want to know about warranties or guarantees, additional costs, how to prep your home, and if you’ll need to relight your pilot lights.
