The well wasn't up to code (was buried two feet under ground, with no
clue where in the yard it was since the pipes were PVC). Over the next
week, in 100+ degree temps, the guys spent almost every day digging for
the well until they found it. Replaced the pump and raised the well
head above ground.

hard) and when they mentioned it, we discussed price and said. They
installed a high capacity system, and replaced all of the pipe from the
