He kept us updated on his arrival time the day of installation. The installation of our self-purchased luxury vinyl plank flooring went quickly and the finished floor looks fabulous. Chris finished it off with quarter round white molding. He took away all the trash and left our sun room clean. Although his quote was higher than the other two quotes we received, his work is well worth the price. Chris is courteous, polite and very professional"

"We hired Mr. Handyman to paint our gables and soffitt. The employee was inexperienced. After setting up, she approached me and said she had made a mistake and didn't understand that she was painting the gables. The estimate we accepted stated painting 3 gables and soffitts. She said she needed to re-estimate the work. Eventually, we agreed on a new [much higher price that her boss approved.] She did very little work before she went back to the company van and sat in it. The office manager arrived to say that she was sick and someone else would be coming the next morning to do the agreed upon job. He started the job and my husband went to talk to him. He stated he was only doing the gables per his boss. The boss called immediately and was irate. He insisted the work was only to paint the gables. I told him we had both a written estimate and video recording [of the renegotiation] stating the work to be done. He insisted we pay more. I asked why, we already agreed and he hung up on me. "

I needed a complete remodel of my main floor bathroom, and I mean even the flooring. They actually gave me a stunning Full Bathroom remodel for Near the same price the other company was charging for a just a shower. And when Re-Bath of the Triad says, " down to the studs" THEY MEAN IT. I had bought the home in 1998 and it still had the pathetic, aged, bath surround and prior history of 2 failed toilet and sink installs. The dark , stunning flooring, the new vanity sink made of mahogany, the walk-in shower with Brazilian wood seat that folds up or down as needed. The Fixtures are fashionable as a well as dependably functionable. And the One fellow (Chris F.) is the maestro who masterfully handled the entire install. A true artisan /Craftsman. His attention to detail and pride in the job "BEST DONE" ..made me weep with happy tears. The walk-in shower is all a anyone could ever hope for.*The floor was taken down to the original 1905 beams .. and built back beautifully with dark flooring that I had chosen. I could see my cellar underneath. I have seldom been this delighted with an a man-made environment. But this is Everything."

"Our experience with Porch Conversion fell far short of our expectations, both in product and customer service. Product-wise, we were not told, during the sales pitch, that the EZ breeze poly-vinyl would not provide a clear view; I knew vinyl would not be as crystal clear as glass, but the disparity is much more substantial than we could have imagined. I would describe it as a wavy distortion. This is the case with the panels with screens behind them and those without screens (upper transom). Secondly, the sliding panels, which are advertised on their website as ‘fingertip easy’ to slide, have not been our experience in the least. A lot of exertion needs to be applied to get the panels to the juncture to lock them up. That over exertion will not bode well for the product’s longevity and our aging muscles. If we were told that both situations were ‘the norm’, we would never have purchased the large panels. We would have considered going with the smaller vertically sliding panels or with glass. The customer service complaint is twofold - 1) the lack of transparency about the vinyl in the sales phase. At that time, I had emphasized to the saleswoman that the clearest view was our top priority. 2) The warranty gentleman was quick in getting back to us when I first reached out about our concern. After his visit, he said that there was no issue with the vinyl, and that he “could not go to bat for us” with the manufacturer. Subsequently, it took days to hear back from him about the sliding panel issue. Finally, we were told once again, that’s the norm with the larger panels; he also did not offer to send a technician out to see if there was any adjustment that could be made to make the panels slide as advertised. That did not seem like an unrealistic ask after doling out a nice chunk of cash for the system. The sad irony, about Porch Conversion’s warranty service, is that this was the deciding factor for us to choose them over another company, who had received frequent bad reviews about their ineffective warranty service.
