"Thank you Wendy!"
"I am sorry Mr. H.was not happy. The actual time it took on the job was actually nine days, due to the fact that I did not work the weekends and the one weekend I had to caretake for my mother 5 hours away, and he knew that. I also had to work around his schedule due to his helping his daughter move. He failed to mention about water intrusion onto the floor through his basement walls which also caused delays because it had to be dried out. There was a lot of glue on his floor and the first equipment would not remove it so I had to rent an additional machine to remove VCT tile, this problem was unforeseen. I had my own shop vac but he offered his, because it was a long distance from my truck to his house. When Mr. H. gave me the final payment he did not mention that any additional cleanup needed to be done. If there was, we certainly would have done it. He failed to mention that he did not have sufficient power downstairs needed to run the machine to take up the glue. I. had to drive to Wilmington which was almost a day to get the machine. Then because of the insufficient power I also had to go and rent a generator to run my machinery. Hence all the delays and increased time costs. He agreed to compensate for the rental because of unforeseen issues with the VCT tile. To achieve the look he wanted would have been cost prohibitive for him. I have lived in Emerald Isle for 35 years and have a good reputation and have never been called dishonest or uneliable. Long story short, I will never do another job that requires removing VCT that is 50 years old. The floor was not ideal to work with. There was nothing I did that could be called dishonest."
"Thank you Holly! We are so happy you are pleased!"
