"Donâ t believe everything they tell you about their system. We hired this company because during heavy rains (4inches or more), our basement tended to flood. We discussed this with the sales rep who came out, Albert Morrow, and told him we didnâ t have problems unless it was heavy rain. He recommended his company and told us the system was designed for this. After we had the system installed, we had no problems but also no heavy rains for 2-3 months. However, in December we had 5 inches of rain during one storm, and OUR BASEMENT FLOODED once again. A technician came out and basically told us the system worked the way it was supposed to but during flooding conditions the system was overwhelmed . So basically we paid $7500 for them to come out and install a system that does not work when it should. We would have been better off just to keep our money in our pocket and just wet-vac the water out when we have heavy rain. NO,WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SYSTEM. We are basically screwed out of $7500."

I felt like the time the service took was legitimate and that he took care to not damage my home. "This company has some of the rudest and most disrespectful people working there. Veronica and Jessica should not be in customer facing positions. The bathroom remodel was done well, but the tile installer needs a bit more attention to details. We still do not have glass and had to call the glass company last week directly for an update as they were not being provided by New York Renovations. NY Reno kept stating there’s a delay and timing is estimated. However, Glass Depot told us the deposit was never paid and that was 7 weeks after they came out for a template. Just called the glass company again for the first time since early last week after continued vague updates from NY Reno. One very helpful person told me that NY Reno just paid the deposit via ACH earlier this week and that they’d call back after asking around for a timing update. Never heard back, so I called again but was told that NY Reno had instructed Glass Depot to not speak with me. The woman at Glass Depot specifically said she was told by NY Reno to not discuss any financial information but could confirm that “the glass has been ordered”. However, when I called last week, that same person at Glass Depot said the deposit was not made and glass had not been ordered. Meanwhile, for weeks, NY Reno was providing random updates about our glass saying they haven’t heard from the glass company, or that it’s just one more panel to come in. Those seem to be false as well as the “receipt” they emailed which was a text only document on Microsoft Word (not images). I’m sure NY Reno will reply to this and say they have gone above and beyond to make us happy. Or, try to put the blame on us and call us rude for following up directly with their vendor, but we have plenty of emails and an outrageous to show this. Plus, a bizarre phone call from Veronica where she berated me by saying that I picked the wrong person to mess with, calling me insane, etc. Update: After I left a review on Google, Veronica from NY Reno emailed stating that they will no longer be in contact or respond to any form of communication until there is a glass install date. She also continued the false line of allegations regarding harassment. Their response to this review, negative criticism, and a customer pushing for concrete updates speaks volumes."

"Quality Service Today replaced my septic tank and the drainfield. From the beginning I felt at ease with the process thanks to the awesome customer service I received. When it was time for the installation the technicians kept me informed the entire time and answered all of my questions. I know who to call for any of my plumbing or septic needs."

"Sean at Rapt Homes came to my rescue after I purchased cabinets from Lowe’s and could not find anyone that would set them to the concrete floor and install them. Had I found him earlier I could have saved money by having him build my kitchen island. He did help me return some very expensive corbels to Lowe’s and even after paying them a restocking fee Sean saved me a lot of money by furnishing quality corbels at a much lower price and even found me a better price than Lowe’s on a granite countertop. Sean also re-designed the sloppy Lowe’s island layout to make my kitchen much more user friendly and efficient and dressed the island up with trim and a pullout trash and recycle bin not provided by Lowe’s and all at a better price. I also had him build cabinets for my laundry room and am very happy with the results, giving me much better storage options for laundry detergent and other laundry goods. Sean was professional, easy to work with and his cabinet skills are exceptional. I just wish I had found him sooner."

"Demar stole my people's money, stripped the house, and disappeared. He's unreliable and appears to not have the credentials that he talked so highly of. My folks reached out to another contractor recently to try and get the house done... While assessing this mess, the contractor mentioned a guy who did a really bad job on his cabinets. Come to find out, that guy was actually Demar! I do not recommend this business AT ALL. Save yourself the headache and go with a REAL professional."
