"Mr.Noll was very pleasant and very informative on explaining the products and the process of deep cleaning of my carpets and area rugs. I have 3 pets in my home and he was able to get the stains out with a great pretreatment prior to the cleaning. I was quite impressed by the way the carpets came out afterwards,he saved me a bunch of money by not having to invest in new carpeting for another year. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is on a tight budget, and is unable to replace with new wall to wall carpeting during these hard times during this pandemic. I will definitely be a repeat customer."

"I can’t recommend Crystal enough. She does a wonderful job cleaning my couch. I have a dog that gets stains on my couch. She takes her time and my couch looks brand new. She also has done my carpet and my dogs bed. Always accommodating and a great price too."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

We don’t recommend you put your silk rug in the washing machine. Silk is extremely delicate; stuffing it in the washer won’t do it any good. Additionally, the hot water can harm your rug. If you have stubborn stains you can’t get out, the safest bet is to call a pro.

Yes, you can revive carpet that’s flattened using household items like an ice cube and stiff brush, a damp cloth and an iron, baking soda and vinegar, and shaving cream. If you want to go all-out, visit a local home improvement store and buy a carpet rake, too. Depending on the state of your carpet, you may need to use more than one of these methods to see results. Keep in mind that you might need to repeat a reviving method more than once.

The cost to clean an area rug is typically between $2 and $6 per square foot, meaning an 8-by-10-foot rug will cost $160 to $480 to clean. However, the final price depends on several factors. The rug's material is a primary consideration, with costs per square foot varying: Synthetic ($1–$4), Cotton ($2–$8), Sisal ($4–$7), Silk ($4–$8), Sheepskin ($4–$8), and Wool ($5–$8). Specialty rugs, like oriental rugs, can cost more, averaging $5 to $9 per square foot. Other factors influencing the price include the rug's size and condition, the cleaning method (hand washing can increase the cost to $4 to $9 per square foot), whether the service is on-site or requires pick-up, and your geographic location. A large, heavily soiled rug could cost $650 or more to clean.

Unless you have a steam cleaner with an extractor (which is what most professionals use), a steam cleaner only breaks up all the dirt and grime stuck to your flooring and doesn’t actually remove the dirt. After a steam clean, the key to getting rid of dirt and grime is going back over it with a vacuum, mop, or microfiber cloth.

Because you likely don’t have the equipment to dry your oriental rug adequately, cleaning it with a hose or any deluge of water is a bad idea. The fibers of an oriental rug are especially dense, so water can cause damage like marking, fading, mold, and odor. Since sunlight can also fade an oriental rug, that’s not a good option for drying it to prevent damage.
