Thank you for taking a look at my page and services! I have lived in the Gallatin Valley, Bozeman, MT, for 30 years this May 2026. I began my carpentry journey as a 17 year old in 1989. I have worked my way up from a laborer, to foreman, to being a superintendent for years, and ultimately, becoming the owner of Hogan Design. I started Hogan Design in March 2018 with the hopes of bringing a seamless, honest, clean, hard working, on schedule, construction service for my clients. Being a superintendent for years, I have seen the good and the bad of contracting and managing jobs. I saw a lack of honest work, job cleanliness, and an ability to follow a schedule. I understand that the homeowner wants the work done as quickly and professionally as possible, so they can enjoy their space. "Mr. Rippel arrived on time. The removal and install of the water heater was more complicated than anticipated as the builder had built the closet around the heater. Mr. Rippel had to remove the door frame and some surrounding wood to remove the old heater and install the new one. He had to leave to get additional supplies and combined that trip with his lunch so as not to charge us travel time. His labor cost was VERY REASONABLE!! I would highly recommend him."
