"Make it Sparkle Cleaning did a Deep Clean for me so I could pass a low income housing inspection I will include a couple before and after photos of the kitchen! It was probably one of the worst areas and shows the total change in appearance and attention to detail!! I’m a disabled registered nurse and never ever thought I would be in a position to not be able to keep my home clean and hygienic but it happened! Tonya the owner and Edwina one of her employees never judged were very professional and they very literally saved me!! I happily recommend their Cleaning LLC so let them “Make it Sparkle” for you!! Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Kitchen towels should be washed after significant use or every week in order to prevent food-borne illnesses. The rules are somewhat less strict for bathroom towels, but they should still be washed frequently, around every 3 to 5 days to help avoid any build-up of bacteria. Other recommendations say bathroom towels should be washed after every three uses.

Yes, you should wash your sheets and clothes immediately after receiving a pest control service. If your pest pro sprayed chemicals inside your home, it’s important to remove any lingering residue from your washable items. Consult your pest control pro for a list of post-treatment steps to follow.

Putting off cleaning your fridge is a bad idea for a few reasons. For one, any food spills can build up, making it much harder to clean your fridge when you finally do get around to it. Plus, any stray pickle juice or leaky leftovers are a recipe for a stinky fridge.

But beyond that, if you don’t clean your fridge, it could be a health hazard. Old food can turn moldy and old spills can too. Even if none of that scares you, putting off cleaning your fridge will make it look downright gross, which should be reason enough to break out your sponge.

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

As a general rule, you should clean your oven at least every three months, though this depends on how often you use it and the amount of residue buildup. A clear sign that your oven needs cleaning is if you notice smoke or a burning smell during use. Many ovens have a self-cleaning cycle, which heats the oven to an extreme temperature. If you use this feature, stay home while it runs and consider ventilating the room, as it can create smoke. For manual cleaning, you can make a paste of baking soda and water or use white vinegar before resorting to harsher, store-bought oven cleaners.
