"Corrie was great to deal with! Replied quickly, showed up on time for an estimate and then returned again promptly to complete the work. Itâ s been a struggle to find people to return your calls lately because everyone is so busy. Corrie was reliable and efficient. Weâ ll hire him again for sure."

"Joseph Bruno and his employees did a fantastic job, trimming and removing trees from our property. He cut, stacked and disposed of all of the tree material and cleaned up after the job was finished. He walked the property and marked the trees that needed to be removed, and discussed the project with us frequently over the three days he was here. His estimate was fair and well deserved. He will be back in the Fall to remove additional trees. I highly recommend Joseph and his crew."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Signs include dead branches, growth over structures, diseases, pests, or roots impacting hardscapes.

Pruning a tree is a yearly DIY job that involves removing small dead branches, leaves, and blooms to help the tree grow bigger and stronger. You can often complete the job with basic home gardening tools. Trimming a tree, however, removes larger sections to control the direction the tree grows in and protects your home, utility wires, and yard from potentially dangerous branches.

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, but extensive trimming may take multiple days.

The best plan of action for an unhealthy or unsafe tree will depend on its condition. An arborist can recommend whether trimming or removal is the right call for your tree. Preventive tree trimming can keep trees safe and healthy, so make regular tree trimming a part of your yard maintenance plan.

Cutting down a dead tree is always strongly advisable. Aside from being an eyesore, a dead tree can be extremely hazardous, especially when it’s near people or structures. Even if the tree isn’t near your home, it can still harbor pests and diseases that can potentially spread to nearby plants and homes.
