Vinegar and baking soda can effectively remove old carpet stains, and there are a few common methods for application. Afterward, blot the area with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Another method combines the ingredients on the stain to create a foaming reaction that helps lift it. The best solution to clean a suede couch is using 4 cups of warm water to ¼ cup of dishwashing liquid. Always test your solution on a small hidden area first to confirm it won’t cause further damage.
