"I had recently purchased new carpet. I have used them four times in the last couple of years. They have always given great service. They use chemicals in the process of cleaning the carpet. Whether the chemicals are eco-friendly or not, I don't know. Now that I have the new carpet, in order to keep the warranty up, I have to have a professional carpet cleaning done once a year, so I will be using them again. I had purchased the Big Deal for $99 for the carpet cleaning, but when they got there we discussed that we had pets, so we wanted additional additives added to make the carpet smell better. They came in and went to work. They did a great job. We had the initial discussion at the beginning, and I agreed to the price. He cleaned the carpets, and I paid them at the end. Everything was contained inside the carpet cleaning unit. He took it outside and actually poured the material in the drain on the street. He didn't pour it in the yard or anything."

"It looked good after the service. However, after about a few weeks of using the tub, noticed some cracks. They came back and resurfaced the tub. This time, the resin held and is looking great."

"You don't have a fantastic experience very often when you hire someone. This is the exception. Ken and Joe are the salt of the earth. I begged them to charge me more. (Yes, I actually did) Their product is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. Prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about their products and applications. I highly recommend you talking to these guys if you have any grout related work. We had a contractor put a backsplash in our kitchen and the grout was different colors in various spots. Sir Grout came in and applied their product to our exact color specifications. Then they sealed it. Now it looks awesome and it will last. My wife was very happy after they were done. Great job Sir Grout !"

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Grouting hearth tiles is one of the most important steps. It seals the tiles so heat doesn’t transfer under the tiles so easily, which can be dangerous. For this reason, heat-resistant grout is a must. Grout also prevents dust, dirt, and any other material from gathering between your tiles. If this happens and those buildups are flammable, a fire could start between the tiles.

Whether you want to match your tile trim with grout comes down to your personal preferences. If you match the two, it can help your tiles to stand out while providing a clean, cohesive look. On the other hand, you might opt to match your tile trim with your tiles. The best option will depend largely on your tile design, as well as how it fits overall with the rest of your room.

The choice of whether to tile or use an acrylic tub surround is up to you and can be based on a number of factors, including aesthetics, cost, waterproofing, ease of cleaning, and maintenance.

Tile is a beautiful, classic bathtub surround choice; while tile installation cost is higher, it’s customizable and offers visual appeal. Tile is also harder to clean and presents waterproofing problems because of grout lines. Acrylic surrounds can be more affordable, don’t require much maintenance, and are easier to clean. However, they aren’t usually as visually appealing and may need to be replaced if they become damaged.

Porcelain countertops have a fairly long life span, sometimes lasting for decades. Depending on how much wear and tear you put your countertops through, it could last 25 to 50 years. But be warned, porcelain is also prone to cracking, so as long as you take good care of it, you’ll have those countertops looking brand new for years to come.

Options include clay, concrete, and slate tiles. Each offers unique durability, aesthetics, and costs.
