I urge that prospective customers insist on best business practices — get a written estimate up front on official letterhead that includes precise details of labor costs and all materials. Bryan Mackey stated that he charges $65 an hour. Be sure to clarify ahead of time whether the written estimate is a flexible ballpark figure or a bottom line guaranteed price for labor. I am a owner/operator business. Although my passion is custom tile showers there is a very wide range of services i provide. Such as all types of: flooring, roofing, exterior siding, water drainage, plumbing, landscaping, pool maintenance, hedge triming, fencing, concrete, stone, electrical, dirt work, operate any heavy equipment, carpentry, weilding. I have been in construction work since i was a child, my grandfather was a home builder and taught me most everything i know. I am a perfectionist, i cant sleep at night knowing i cut a corner earlier that day. With that said, good work doesnt come cheap,but at the end of the job my main concern is the customers overall satisfaction!
