"Son of Watson Tree Service did an outstanding job on the trees they removed for me. The price was very reasonable. Joshua was very professional the way he conducted business. He was very courteous and respectful. I would hire him and his crew again and I would recommend him to anyone. Great Job to Joshua and his crew. I would like to also thank Jessie for cutting the trees down. This man knows how to cut ,climb and fall trees. Woody Wilson"

"Wow this tree service is the last one I’ll ever need. I had Jordan cut several trees on my property all very close to building structures and my home. He is a master arborist and the best in the business by far. He and his crew was so professional punctual and even picked up limbs and sticks/ debris that was there way before they arrived on the property. I can say this man has my tree business for as long as I ever may need it. He even called a few weeks after the completion of the job to check on everything. Talented young man"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.

Since overwatering can harm mature trees just as much as a lack of water, it’s important to know the signs of an overwatered tree. If your tree’s leaves are yellowing, wilting, or dropping leaves, it’s likely that you’re overwatering. Other common signs include rotting, fungi, soggy soil, soft or peeling bark, falling leaves, and brittle roots.

If you realize that you’ve been overwatering your mature tree, stop watering and give the soil time to dry out. Then moving forward, increase time between watering sessions.

Using vinegar to kill tree roots is just one of the clever ways to use vinegar around the house. The method works best when you apply vinegar as directly to the root system as possible. For example, if the old tree roots and stump are currently exposed, drill holes in the tops of the roots and pour undiluted white vinegar into the holes to soak into the plant. Remember that vinegar can kill the surrounding grass and plants should it pour over the edge.

If you’re taking down a tree that you don’t suspect is affected by disease or pests and it’s nowhere near your home or other structures, then calling in a tree company should work fine. However, anything more involved means an arborist is a better option. These pros have years of experience with tree removal and can safely take down trees located next to structures, and they have the tools, sanitization equipment, and experience to remove sick or dying trees without infecting nearby trees.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.
