"These guys were amazing! They were very professional company who went above and beyond what had been asked of them. Their pricing is reasonable and were able to work with me when scheduling the work. When I need to have any other tree work done, I will be calling them again."

"MORGANS LLC IS AN AMAZING VENDOR TO USE. THEY ARE ORGANIZED AND DID AMAZING WORK ON OUR BACK PORCH AT OUR LAKE HOUSE BEFORE OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY BACK IN AUGUST 2023. THEY CAME A COUPLE OF DAYS IN ROW AND COMPLETED THE WORK AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB INSTALLING OUR PORCH SPRINKLER SYSTEM. THEY HAVE ALSO PRICED TREE REMOVAL FOR ME AND I WOULD CONSIDER THEM REMOVED AND HAULING OFF THE TREE FOR ME. THANKS, HALEY REED 04-24"

"This company was exceptional. They came out gave me an estimate and within a day they were on site working. The work was timely and all debris was nicely removed. They even raked and removed the leaves that fell from the cut trees."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Sudden oak death and oak wilt are different diseases. Oak wilt first shows up in tree leaves while sudden oak death affects the branches and trunk. However, as symptoms in both can overlap, it’s best to consult a professional arborist tree expert for a proper diagnosis and development of a treatment plan.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

Yes, cutting a tree's roots can cause it to fall, particularly if major support roots are severed. In extreme cases, trimming roots can affect the tree's structure and stability. Many crucial roots are located just below the soil's surface. If you make severe cuts to roots more than 2 inches in diameter, you risk impacting the tree's water flow and its ability to withstand severe winds or storms. Even cutting roots less than half an inch in diameter under or outside the tree's canopy can cut off its water supply, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.

Since each tree is different, it’s impossible to say how long a dead tree can remain on your property. While it could be days, months, or even years, it’s highly likely that, at some point, the tree will fall. In the meantime, dying or dead trees can become a haven for pests, so it’s best to have them removed sooner rather than later.

If a tree stump is removed properly, the chances of a tree growing back are low. However, if a tree has a robust root system, roots can sometimes sprout and someday grow into a tree. The chance of regrowth will depend on several factors such as the type of tree, soil quality, and strength of the root system. In general, it is not recommended to plant a tree where a stump was removed.
