"

We have had a pool for over 20 years.  Years ago I used other pool companies and most of the time found their work to be unsatisfactory. Once I had Josh and Jason to work on my pool, I would NEVER use anyone else.  Have used only them for at least the last 10-12 years.  They are the most knowledgeable in the business. Found them to be completely honest, very courteous and always dependable.  Also had a fitness center with a pool and a spa.  They did all the work there also and we were also completely happy with their service.   I would highly recommend them !

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

You should bundle pool construction and installation with other outdoor projects to streamline the permitting process. State laws mandate specific pool fencing, so you must install enclosures simultaneously. Combining this work with electrical panel upgrades, patio additions, and landscaping prevents contractors from tearing up your Grenada yard twice. Addressing the heavy clay soil drainage immediately also protects your property from severe water damage.

Helpful?

Assess your property for pool construction and installation by checking your lot size for mandatory setback compliance. You must verify flood zone designations and contact local authorities to locate underground utility easements. Because Grenada features heavy clay soils and high annual rainfall, evaluate your yard for standing water. Properties with poor drainage require immediate grading improvements to prevent significant structural damage to the pool shell.

Helpful?

Schedule pool construction and installation between October and March to avoid peak summer heat and afternoon thunderstorms. The high annual rainfall in MS creates flooding risks during excavation, especially in poorly draining clay soil. High humidity accelerates metal corrosion and degrades deck sealants rapidly. Additionally, you must secure all equipment housings to withstand the region's severe thunderstorms and frequent tornado activity.

Helpful?

Build a seasonal inspection routine for your pool construction and installation by checking concrete and coping for freeze-thaw damage each spring. During the hot MS summers, inspect water chemistry equipment monthly and check surfaces for UV degradation. In the fall, clear leaves from filtration systems and inspect exposed plumbing before the first frost. After any hard winter freezes, examine your equipment and pipes for structural damage.

Helpful?

Completing pool construction and installation in Grenada offers an extended swimming season of five to six months. You avoid the crowds at local lakes while adding unique value to your property. Because MS winters are mild, you avoid extensive winterization tasks required in northern states. However, you must manage increased algae growth and chemical demand caused by the high heat and humidity during the peak summer months.
