"Fantastic. Redeemer filled all of the voids under the entire driveway - literally at least 1/3 of the driveway had zero support underneath it because the ground had washed away. The Whole driveway is now level and all the cracks are repaired."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"This company is hands-down THE best my family has ever dealt with in the 66+ years since my Dad built our home. Mr. Lee Fraser and Mrs. Kim Fraser are as honest and professional as they are kind, and that is saying a LOT. And their son Bailey is cute as a bug and smart beyond his years. The Frasers' work crew were incredibly polite, hardworking, and helpful. I've never seen a crew clean a site so well, or be so solicitous of our comfort throughout the entire course of a project. For the quality and extent of the work they did, they easily could have charged us twice or three times as much. My family and I now will be able to sleep soundly through the worst rain events, knowing all will remain safe from water getting under the house and destroying the floors, walls, and foundation. Oh, I almost forgot to mention how PRETTY the finished work is! The washed river rocks that are part of the drainage system match perfectly with our stucco house and our landscaping. I cannot recommend this company more highly."

Foundation Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, a house can collapse from severe foundation problems if they are left unchecked. However, this is a rare occurrence that typically takes many years to develop, and a partial collapse is more likely than a full one. Homes on hillsides or in areas with frequent washouts are at a higher risk. Barring a natural disaster or other extreme circumstances, clear signs of major issues will be apparent long before a collapse is imminent. It is crucial to conduct routine foundation inspections and address any problem, no matter how minor it seems, as soon as possible to avoid threatening the structural integrity of your home.

Whether your homeowners insurance covers slab leak repairs depends on your specific policy and the cause of the leak. Many policies cover slab leaks resulting from a covered peril, such as a natural disaster, a falling tree, or pipes freezing and bursting within the slab. However, damage caused by invading tree roots, corrosion, or leaks from appliances may not be covered by a standard policy. It's a good idea to also check your home warranty plan for potential coverage if an appliance is the source. Contact your insurance provider for a full explanation of what your policy covers.

Foundation cracks that are 1/8 inch wide or less, aren’t uneven across the gap, and don’t continue widening over time are usually just normal settling cracks and don’t suggest structural issues. Horizontal cracks and stair-step cracks on foundation walls, any cracks that continue widening, are wider than 1/8 inch, or where one side juts out beyond the other, are often indicative of structural damage.

Yes, thicker concrete is less likely to crack. The thicker the concrete is, the less susceptible it is to extreme changes in weather conditions that often cause concrete to crack or chip. If you’re unable to install a thicker concrete driveway for any reason, you can also ask your professional to install more rebar or wire mesh to provide greater strength and better resilience to damage.

The most expensive foundation repair method is to install helical piers. Helical piers are a type of steel pier used to support sinking foundations in areas with poor soil conditions or deep bedrock. This foundation repair method can cost up to $3,000 per pier, including labor, because of its material and labor-intensive installation process. Total foundation repair costs can easily reach over $20,000 using this method.
