"Their material is very good.  They had to put 4 nails on each shingle of the roof which they did not.  As a result I had to call them back twice for leaks.  They did come back eventually and fix it but I felt they should have done it initially. I did not think their work was poor.  They only install and do not make the materials."

Standard door sizes aren’t one-size-fits-all, but there are common go-to dimensions. Most slab doors do not have hinge cutouts, making them a complete blank slate. You will have to measure and cut the mortises yourself. You can order a slab door from a home improvement store and ask them to make the cuts, although you still have to take the measurements independently.

If you took measurements of the door and can’t find the correct size in the store, you may need a custom-size screen door. Many door manufacturers produce doors fit-to-size using individualized dimensions. Another option, if the door opening is smaller than standard, is to have the door frame opening cut larger to accommodate a standard-sized door.

The vast majority of hinges are symmetrical, and either side of the hinge can go on the door or the frame.
