"I think the ladies did a pretty good job considering how much work needed to be done; however, they overcharged me for coming back for a general clean. I was charged the same amount for a general clean and a top to bottom clean. I was charged per hour per person, which is not correct. Cleaning companies are suppose to charge per hour.  Also let me note that they had to come back to clean stuff that they didn't do for the top to bottom clean. I am very disappointed that it didn't work out with them. The owner was very disorganized and didn't seem like she wanted my business. If anyone decides to use this company, make sure you have a signed contract so everybody is on the same page."

Wood floors should be polished every two to four months to maintain a shine and to keep them protected from daily wear and tear. More frequent maintenance includes dry mopping the floors daily and cleaning spills immediately, using a spray mop and cleaner weekly to remove any built up dirt or grime, and sanding and refinishing the floors every three to five years.

You can mop bamboo floors, but exercise caution to protect the material from excess moisture, which can seep into the bamboo, causing it to warp and well. Moisten a microfiber mop and wring it out until it’s just damp, or use a pH-neutral cleaner, as this will prevent damage to the bamboo fibers. Avoid harsh chemicals, like traditional floor cleaners. You can buff out small scratches or indentations from your hardwood floor, but refinishing is your best bet if you have larger areas that need work.
