"Very professional. Took as much time as needed to answer questions. Very good attention to detail. Even though a few more rods were needed than originally quoted, they stuck to their original quote price. No surprises. I would highly recommend this company."

"Last summer my A/C stopped working. When I called, Tim told me he was at abortion but would come to my house when he finished there. About an hour later he called to say he was on his way and he was at my house about 20 minutes later. He went up in the attic and came down with an electrical outlet and said hereâ s your problem. An outlet that costs $1.60 to which I replied, you could have charged me $1000. And I would have paid it. That kind of honesty and integrity is hard to find. My unit was 22 years old so I scheduled a complete replacement and Iâ m more than happy with work quality , professionalism , and price ! Prompt, professional, and courteous company that I highly recommend!!"

No, wiring does not need to be redone to get a dimmer switch, as they work with single-pole and three-way switches. Just ensure you choose a dimmer that is compatible with your wiring, fixture, and lightbulbs. Most homes built after 1985 have neutral wiring and work with almost all dimmers. If your home was built before 1985 and you don’t have an updated electrical system, you may have to use a non-neutral wiring dimmer.

You should install a 25-amp breaker for your outdoor electrical outlet. If your outlet is only for use in an outdoor kitchen area for standard appliances, then a 15- to 20-amp circuit breaker should work. However, you will need to install a GFCI receptacle or breaker to ensure that the breaker trips on contact with water.

When shopping for a multimeter to handle this job, make sure you purchase one that is able to test for capacitance. While most multimeters offer this function, some do not. You shouldn’t have to spend a lot of money to find the right multimeter. There are models that can perform this test that cost as little as $10.

If you’re interested in exploring other avenues to completely upgrade your electrical panel, it’s also possible to add a sub-panel, which is a smaller panel that connects to what you currently have in place. This way, you can add additional circuits without having to swap out your main panel.

There are various reasons why an electrical outlet can stop working. You might have to do some detective work to understand whether it’s a problem with the attached appliance, the outlet itself, or a faulty breaker. Sometimes, old age or loose wiring are to blame; other times, it can be as simple as an overloaded circuit tripping the system and cutting power. If you’re troubleshooting doesn’t solve the mystery or repairs, or replacements are required, it’s time to call in the pros.
