"Everything went very well. If I wasn't able to reach him whenever I had a question about the job, Hans would return my call as soon as possible. He quoted me a price that I thought was fair and he didn't have any added costs. Hans told me the day he would be there to do the job and he was there as he had promised. He originally told me that the job would take two days. However, he finished the job in one day, which made me very happy. I would definitely hire him for my next project. And I will recommend him to anyone that I know who needs quality electrical work done in very timely manner."

"It was only a couple of months ago, but installation went well. They came back to install a filter and found a minor issue, but made sure it was taken care of. The owner was responsive and wanted to make sure the job was done right. He came out himself during part of the installation and follow up."

"We purchased the big deal for two hours labor. He ended up taking a little more time and the extra fee was very reasonable. The lights look great. Cons: scheduling become a little tricky and he could not fix fix the GFI- and now we have to get an electrician ( which really is acceptable and reasonable if you ask me). I would consider using him again."

"Justin and his helper Anthony did a great job remodeling the kitchen in our 100-year-old house. They installed new tile flooring and backsplash, new drywall, new appliances, sink, plumbing, lighting, cabinets, paint and windows. The cost was around $15,000, not including appliances and tile, which we purchased separately. The new kitchen looks fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased. Justin's dad, Mike, built our custom oak cabinets. They are works of art. We were so impressed with Mike's work that we had him build us a couple of other cabinets in a separate job.
They were here on time every day until the project was finished. It took about two weeks. Overall, the job came in on time and on budget. Due some supply delays -- the windows came in late and we had to order another box of backsplash tile -- Justin did have to come back a few days later and finish those details. The cost was reasonable and the quality of work was excellent.
Justin is professional, courteous and highly skilled. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Installing recessed lights requires you to cut holes in the ceiling, create an electrical wiring connection, install the fixture, and connect it to your service panel. It should only be done by those with electrical skills, due to the safety concerns it presents.

If you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s recommended to contact a local technician to complete the installation for you.

When installing a chandelier in a high-ceiling room of two stories or more, don't let it hang any lower than the first floor. This job will require an extra tall ladder or scaffold, which may require a professional. Installing a light fixture costs between $150 and $1,500, depending on the expertise and supplies necessary to hang the fixture.

Due to safety concerns, always check with a local professional before completing this kind of project. There are many professionals who specialize in heavy lighting installation.

The housing for high-quality recessed lighting can last a lifetime. But how long the bulbs last depends on the type you choose. LED lights are the most common and tend to last the longest, often 30,000 to 40,000 hours. Compare that to incandescent bulbs, which only last for 1,000 hours or so.

It’s technically possible to install your own outdoor lighting, but we only recommend it for wireless set-ups, which won’t last as long as wired outdoor lights. Installing wired lighting around your property requires help from a professional electrician, especially since improper installation can increase the risk of fire. You may need a licensed professional to pull an electrical permit for you and sign off on the work. We suggest leaving the work to an expert to ensure good design, maximum security for your home, and the best quality work possible that will last for decades.

The process to cut a circle in drywall for recessed lighting follows a process similar to the process for cutting outlet holes in drywall. The easiest option for making a perfect circle is to use a circle cutter tool. It makes a smooth circle in the drywall quickly, meaning you’ll have less cleanup work to do later. You just have to know the center point of the recessed light before adjusting the circle cutter tool’s length to create the diameter of the circle cut you need.
