Carpenter’s Kids Handyman Services

Mark, and the other members of Carpenter's Kids exceeded every expectation. Ours was a complicated remodel that involved everything from installing new and moving old plumbing, tile work, new electric, moving a wall 2ft, to detail work. Carpenter's kids made short work of the entire project. They were 1 day over in their estimate, but they came MEMORIAL DAY to finish and were still ~2 weeks faster than all other quotes. The quality is impeccable, and the price more than fair. Whomever said you can have it fast, good, or cheap but you have to pick 2 out of 3 didn't know Mark, and his boys. We've already asked for 3 new estimates.

Job went well… Mark and his crew replaced my floor joist in kitchen and utility room and put down new sub floor. They ran into a mess on this house and got it done . I had to work everyday they were here,always kept me informed pics and all. Great Bunch… Highly Recommended them. Thanks guys! M

Fantastic service

Mark and his crew were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We bought the wrong sized product but they were able to create the perfect bathtub and shower. In addition, I was impressed with the daily cleanup. No messes left behind. Mark and his crew also installed 3 ceiling fans and did additional plumbing. I am planning on having them come back for additional upgrades.

Great… did a wonderful job,finished in a timely manner,kept the worksite picked up and clean! Coming back in the Fall to do some other work for us! Very pleased!

Mark and Dustin do great work! Fair prices. Attention to detail. Our guest bathroom door was sticking. Mark came back out and fixed our problem. No extra charge. Gutter guards installed a couple weeks ago. A fraction of the cost of Leaf Filter. Will have these guys back later in the year to do our guest bathroom remodel.

Very dishonest!! We had a contract that required a 50% deposit and the remainder when each project (3) was completed. One project was completed (and paid for in full). When I paid the remaining balance of the first project I also gave them deposits for another three things they were going to do for me. I also fully paid for a staircase re-do. Out of the blue they demanded that I pay them an additional $5,000 in order for them to continue working on the remaining projects! I refused to pay any additional money so they walked out without completing any of the remaining projects. When I asked about the condition of the staircase re-do they did not fix it. When I asked for the order numbers for the bathroom vanities they bought with the money I gave them they sent me a bill! BEWARE OF THESE FAKES!! They only care about taking your money!!!

We now have a beautiful bathroom. Mark and his crew did a wonderful job and in a timely manner. They worked on our project until it was finished. We went from a tub/shower combo to a walk in tiled/glass shower along with a new vanity, toilet, and floor. They also painted the walls and cabinet. We would definitely recommend them and hire them again for any project!

Mark was great to work with. He has a lot of experience and made the process of remodeling our bathroom easy. He did a nice job and went above and beyond to make things easier on me as the homeowner!

A couple of upstairs water pipes froze and burst in Dec22 gushing water over an upstairs bedroom and downstairs ceilings atop a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, hallway, laundry room, and garage. Mark Crossland came out in Jan and gave an estimate for repair and also advised on what should be done to correctly repair the areas. His bid was spot on for total damage, and made his company available when I received the insurance money. He removed all the damaged ceiling and wall areas, and replaced sheetrock and taping with painting the areas to look like nothing had happened. When we discovered the cause of the cold air coming into the house was an unhooked bathroom exhaust fan pipe, he agreed to replace the exhaust fan/light and install a new one instead of just reattaching the old pipe. As work progressed he was very clear on what needed to be done and found some issues with other problems in the construction of the house and advised on improvements. This house was a quick build in 1998 so the original builder had cut corners in the construction. His and the team from Carpenter's Kids where extremely knowledgeable and had a great work ethic. They showed up on time every day and worked hard at getting the damage repaired. The extra items I had needed to be done for some time where agreed to without hesitation. The extra things included reflooring two upstairs rooms from carpet to laminate, replacing two toilets, replacing both bathrooms exhaust fans, and insulating the flooring between the lower and upper floors. I couldn't be happier with them as a company and individuals doing my repairs, and our house has gained even more value from their expert building knowledge.

Our interaction was great. They went out of their way to accomplish our projects. Have and will continue to call upon Carpenter's Kids for handyman or other services. Have some plumbing work as our next project. We sought a Christian company to do our work and we were not or never have been disappointed.

Mark came in and surveyed the damage from a water pipe leak and provided a very reasonable quote for repair. He made his company available to me as soon as the insurance paid me for the damage since I had called on him earlier. He started on Jan 11 2023 and finished two weeks later. Everyone on his team showed up on time every day and worked diligently to remove all of the damage and replace everything. As work progressed I had some other things that needed done like flooring in two other upstairs rooms, toilets, and the exhaust fans in both bathrooms. He had no problems accepting and completing the extra work and even offered more suggestions and did fix some of the deficiencies that were done by the original builders. He and the crew were professional and extremely competent in getting my house back to normal quickly. His extensive knowledge of all things housing were invaluable to me and my wife.

Kudos to Mark, Tom & Dustin for the excellent remodel work they performed during the hot July days! They were always on time & worked efficiently and never complained the entire time about the heat. Superior work & always were smiling and having a good time together. All were very respectful and courteous to myself and my wife. We'll be sure to use Mark and his crew on our next project.

They fantastic work really gotten to know Mark for last several months of 2022 while they are working in our property. Mark came up several ideas while we are talking about the work. Suggestion that we implemented. The finish product outstanding.

We've had the distinct pleasure of having Carpenter's Kids Handyman Services work on our 1935 built home since May of 2020. They do excellent, quality work and are conscientious, professional and courteous. Highly recommend them!
