Customers say: Quick response
"Mike was the first contractor to reply to my request for painting. He was so kind that I wanted to use him from the start but decided to get two more quotes anyway. He was the most reasonable and detailed about what would be done. He was extremely helpful and open to what we wanted to do. Mike was extremely conscientious and did an amazing job painting a whole lot of very dark cabinets. We could not be happier!"

"Everything was smooth and professional from the estimate to the final walk-through. The area where the work was done had recently installed flooring, and the crew made sure to protect the new floor. The work started promptly as scheduled, and the work area was cleaned up each day. 20 year old wallpaper was removed, and the walls look great."

"Tom and the painting crew arrived exactly on time and finished the entire project in two days as promised. He kept us apprised of their progress and the final price was exactly as discussed. Additionally, the painters were very professional and we felt very comfortable giving them access to our home. Their work turned out beautifully and we look forward to working with them again in the near future."

"Larry (owner) performed painting services at my home from a Angie's List deal I purchased way back in 2012. He was kind enough to honor the coupon for the actual services purchased even though it had expired a long time ago. Larry and his associate arrived on time as promised for each painting session they needed to do in order to complete the job. Larry went the extra mile to caulk and tack up loose trim and moldings to ensure proper fit and finish. They did a great job with clean-up and treated my property as their own. From my experience, Larry and his associate were extremely professional, trustworthy and friendly to talk to. I will definitely be using them for more upcoming jobs.

"Chad painted our 30 year-old+ Morton building and it looks fabulous. The paint had faded and the building was looking pretty tired. Chad power-washed and then repainted using paint that will last for many years. I really appreciated the quality work. The lines between the two colors we chose were tight. Additionally, Chad overcommunicated to ensure we had current status without question--especially given this was such a large job. For example, it was raining one of the days he was scheduled to paint. He called anyway to make sure we knew he would not be there and provide an update on status. Awesome customer focus and experience! Excellent results! Highly recommend!"

Hanging wallpaper may seem simple, but in practice it requires significant planning and finesse to make it look professional. To start, you need to get an even application of wallpaper paste across all of your wallpaper, which requires experience and large pasting tables to get right. You also need to plan out your design and match it exactly so that you don’t have imperfections in the finished product. It’s often better to hire a professional wallpaper hanger who can get the job done properly for a clean, smooth finish.
The average cost to hire a professional wallpaper hanger is around $575 per room, but it’s not uncommon to see prices range from $175 to $1,400 or more for a single room. Your total project cost depends on the wallpaper quality, room type and size, and whether you must remove old wallpaper. Since room size is one of the most significant cost factors, you can use a price between $1 and $7 per square foot to estimate your wallpapering labor cost.
It depends: You can wallpaper over non-coated wallpaper, but you should never wallpaper over vinyl-coated wallpaper. This non-recommended method will cause the new wallpaper to fail to stick, which can lead to bubbling, imperfections, and even mold growth between the layers of wallpaper. Consult a professional wallpaper hanger to determine your existing wallpaper type or remove the current wallpaper and paste residue so that the new wallpaper will adhere properly.
Spring and fall are the best seasons to apply wallpaper because excessively hot or cold temperatures can cause issues with the paste used to attach the paper to the wall. A professional wallpaper hanger can help you decide if your home is too hot, cold, humid, or dry for the wallpaper to stick properly.
Hiring a professional wallpaper hanger is usually a worthwhile idea because, while the application of wallpaper itself is easy, getting the finished product to look good is complicated and takes a lot of practice and patience. A professional wallpaper hanger will not only be able to hang your wallpaper seamlessly, but they will also get an even application of wallpaper paste to avoid bubbling and imperfections immediately and over time. Plus, they can provide their professional opinion on whether to remove or wallpaper over an existing layer of wallpaper.
