"In March----I selected Lockwood based on Angie's List ratings.  Ken Lockwood came out to give estimate.  He is very nice and very professional.  He examined what needed to be done in detail so he could give an accurate bid.  He let me know when he could do the work and then provided an exact schedule later.  His team stripped wallpaper in dining room and master bedroom and painted.  They did an excellent job.  We also asked them to do some touch up work on some baseboard and molding in a few rooms.  This was in the bid.  This part of the job was not as well done as the rest.  When I called this to his attention Ken had a couple people out to fix it and they did a good job then.
In May---we decided to get the wallpaper below the chair rail removed and painted along with the hall bath where it too
required wallpaper removal and painting.  We also had a front door entrance gel stained and clear coated outside only.  They did excellent job but did have to ask them to come back out and fix a little bit of paint cracking around the bathroom wall fixture. Also the bathroom mirror needed to be put back up. When they came back I asked if they put 2 coats of clear coat on the front door.  Rob said he would put another coat on just to be sure.  He also did a little more staining on it.  It really looks good.  All their work was excellent by time I paid.  I would have rated an A instead of B on quality but for fact I did have to ask them to come back out on a few small items.  To their credit they did so quickly and did and were nice to deal with.  I would use them again.  I have referred Lockwood to a friend who used him and they too were very pleased with their work.

"Jessica truly is a wallpaper wizard! My wallpaper is perfectly executed in my Victorian home, Even though the plaster uneven walls made the process more challenging. Jessica was fantastic with communication and expectations. She went above and beyond to make sure that the wallpaper with stick and would last and gave me follow up directions if it starts to come undone. I will certainly hire Jessica again!"

"I own a condominium that had been absolutely trashed by the former tenants. It has been incredibly discouraging (not to mention costly) to get everything fixed and spruced up. Larry, his son, and John were very helpful. They arrived on time and got right to work. They painted the place from top to bottom (literally - including the basement, which had hideous 1970's era brown wood paneling). They also helped with some important drywall repairs and removed stubborn wallpaper from one bathroom. How they got that bathroom to look so good afterward is a mystery to me but you would never know there had been wallpaper there before. The walls are absolutely smooth - no bumps, no rough patches. Gorgeous.  The basement was absolutely transformed by the new bright paint and it will really be a usable rec room now.
Larry and his crew worked incredibly fast and were neat and professional. Before they helped me I hated to go over to the condo to work on repairs because it was so discouraging. Now thanks to the impeccable paint job I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
 I will definitely hire Larry again to help with painting my own house. It was a pleasure to work with him. Do note that he is busy, so you may have to wait a bit to get on his calendar, but I would guess that is because he is much in demand. It is worth the wait.

I did not completely understand what the inspector wanted done and Bill was able to explain it all to me clearly. The work was scheduled for the next day. John, the carpenter, did an outstanding job. "Al and his partner were setup and working within 10 minutes of getting to our house. What I appreciate about Al is that he notices little things that need to be done and just does them (recaulking the bathtub when he was working in the bathroom, using left over concrete patch from the foundation to fill in a spot in the driveway that was broken) - simple stuff that adds little or nothing to the bill but tells me he's paying attention and that he cares. I have had Al work on several projects now, and to be honest, I don't even bother calling anyone else.
