"They got my drive way finished as quickly as they said it would be done and it looks amazing. Everyone working was very kind and respectful to the rest of my property. I would definitely recommend going with them for your concrete and construction needs."

"I used Foundation One to lift my drive way in my recently purchased house. It had sunken enough that I was unable to pull into the garage. Josh and his partner came out for two days and lifted the concrete of the driveway, the sidewalk, and the porch and now it looks great. It was a good price too. I would recommend them in the future."

"It went quite well actually.  They finished before I arrived home from work.  They did a nice job laying and spreading the dirt around the house.  They fixed a portion of my driveway that had chipped and broke off.  I really appreciated that!  Had it not been for the perfectly form filled holes on the pavement you wouldn't have known anything in the way of mudjacking had been done.  There was no sign of residual material left behind.  They filled the sides of the driveway with dirt and spread it out nicely too."

"I had started a job with a different contractor many months earlier, but he kept stalling, for months, and was not getting the job done, so I started looking. Timing was not good as ALL concrete guys were full up, so it ended up being late in the year, but pretty close to the original estimate time wise. They did a very nice job. Tom did a great job of always answering my calls and emails, sometimes it was a few days, but he always answered. The cost was very reasonable."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

You should not do your own welding unless you have the proper training and experience. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.

Cutting rectangular ductwork requires careful measurements and the right technique. Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the cutting lines accurately. Tin snips are excellent for straight cuts on smaller ducts. For more extensive or thicker rectangular ducts, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade is effective.

Ensure the duct is well-supported and secure while cutting to prevent wobbling and maintain precision. After cutting, use a metal file to smooth any sharp edges, ensuring safety during installation.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.
