"If I could give this guy a zero rating I would. He came 2-19-20 to give us an estimate on our failing toilet and drippy faucet. He was coming yesterday, 2-21-20, to do the repair at 3:30pm. My husband took the afternoon off work to be home. At 3:40pm he still was not here, so I called him. He told me I should **get someone else**. He comes across as a **good old boy** and will talk your leg off. Even about other customers. He drives a retired vehicle and I would think would have ample room to stock normal plumbing repair parts such as a toilet fill valve one would think. Unreliable. Move on from him is my opinion. My husband was so mad he watched online videos, and did the necessary repairs for $20."

Streamline Energy Solutions provides various insulation and weatherization services including blower door tests that show immediate improvements in your home. Our Services: Insulation - Insulation is a key feature in having an energy-efficient home. Worried about itchy or unsafe products? You are not alone. We use a premium product developed by Certinteed, called Insulsafe SP. Not only is it the safest product on the market, but it does the job well leaving your home comfortable and consistent. Energy Audits - Before performing insulation measures in your home, we recommend performing a comprehensive home energy audit to identify issues facing your home’s current condition. Through the use of thermal imaging and blower door tests, you can see an immediate amount of airflow reduction in the home after installation. Air Sealing - All homes have gaps or spaces that allow conditioned air to escape. Sealing top plates, wiring, pipes, lights, and other air leaks with spray foam drastically improves the efficiency of a home and can reduce energy bills by up to 20%. Ventilation and Solar Attic Fans - When upgrading your home’s insulation, attic ventilation is a critical aspect of maintaining the structure of your home. Improper attic venting can lead to moisture buildup that can create mold growth and wood rot. Solar fans provide next-level ventilation to keep your attic cooler in the summer and less humid in the winter. Insulation Removal - Get rid of old, damaged insulation

"The team did a great job informing me of a few areas in my home that was causing energy loss which we addressed. The key issue was to seal up areas in my attic and ensure rodents couldn't come in. They were extremely professional and sent me photos and videos where work was completed. I would hire them again and recommend them to others."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

There’s no reason why you can’t install a ceiling fan anywhere in your home, such as in living rooms, offices, bedrooms, and dining areas. Most bathrooms already have ventilation and don’t need a ceiling fan. For safety purposes, avoid installing a ceiling fan where the blades will be less than eight feet from the floor, near bunk beds, or anywhere else they may hit nearby objects.

Yes, adding wiring for a ceiling fan where there is none requires an electrician to build the electrical infrastructure. You should not attempt to do this job yourself, as electrical work can be dangerous without experience. All told, the job is a big one, and it might cost up to $2,000.

Keeping dust off fans can keep them working optimally and help keep dust mites or bacteria from building up. Dust fans weekly with a duster, microfiber cloth, old pillowcase, or vacuum attachment. You can also try spraying a clean fan with a store-bought dust-repellent product or making a DIY dust-repellent with water and a small amount of liquid fabric softener mixed in.

Many ceiling fan-rated electrical boxes tend to be made of metal. However, some electrical boxes may also be made of heavy-duty plastic that is reinforced with metal support structures. It may also have an attachment that connects directly to a ceiling joist. If you are ever ensure, consult with a licensed professional to get their insight on best practices and whether the installation is a safe one.

There are many types of ceiling fans, from self-automated smart ceiling fans to outdoor ceiling fans that provide additional comfort to your patio. What you choose all comes down to function and personal taste.

Consider your ceiling height when selecting a ceiling fan. Rooms with ceilings under eight feet high will do well with low-profile ceiling fans, also known as flush-mount or hugger ceiling fans. If your home has cathedral ceilings or ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, you’ll need a large ceiling fan with a heavy-duty motor to get adequate air circulation.
