I knew that I wanted to open up the wall, but had no idea how to go about it or what it would look like. Erskine had a vision when we first talked about it, and it turned out better than he had described. He was eager to incorporate any suggestions I had into the project. The final cost was almost right on the money that he quoted. He was very methodical and precise in his work, paying close attention to detail. He cleaned up and even vacuumed every day, so there was no mess or dust. He started the project, saying it would take two weeks, and finished in exactly that amount of time. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"
