"Bradan did a fantastic job installing a new exterior door. (We are redesigning our garage and needed a man door) and putting in vinyl steps on both sides of the door. He completed ahead of schedule and his prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend him for any project you have. I will definitely be using him again! 100% satisfied."

"Blake did an amazing job! Communication was great and he really helped me with the layout. I had an idea I thought I wanted and as we looked at it together he had some great ideas we decided to implement. I also used him to do some regrading. I had some drainage issues that he was able to help me resolve with some land regrading. Highly recommend him and will absolutely be using him again in the future on other projects!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Tony and his crew are THE BEST! Tony was always available to answer questions, and I had a lot! He was truly a blessing in a messy remodel situation, and I am so grateful that he was my contractor. He is very easy to talk to , knowledgeable and wires to complete the job as fast as possible. He went out of his way to help me in any way he could. He is a man of integrity and I would definitely recommend him to anyone."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Some welding projects, such as repairing pipes or fences, require travel, whereas others, like furniture repair, do not necessarily require the welder to come to you. Travel and overhead factor into the overall cost of your welding project. Some of the most common welding projects include:

  • Metal furniture repair: $35–$100

  • Pipe repair: $200–$1,000

  • Small gates: $550–$750

  • Fencing: $1,200–$1,800

  • Fabricated sheet metal welding: $750–$2,500

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

Professional metal fabricators typically charge around $70 per hour, but the total cost of your project will depend on several factors. The largest cost drivers are the size, complexity, and design of the project, as well as the price and type of metal used. A good way to estimate the total cost is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four; typically, one-quarter of the total goes toward materials and three-quarters toward labor. Your geographic location can also influence costs, as labor and material prices vary by region.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.
