"He is just wonderful. I would call him again and again. I found him on Angie's List and he had very a good recommendation. He is very polite, very clean, and very above and beyond. He charges $30.00 to come out. He is very upfront. He will tell you if he can do something or not. He is very honest. He is a great guy and I really appreciate him. He is on time. He comes when he says he will. His name is C W Riehlman and he is the owner of Reliable Handyman Services. He does residential and commercial. He has a whole page of what he will do but he will tell you if he doesn't do it. I needed quite a bit of painting inside my house and he doesn't do that. I really appreciate his honesty. He charged me $90.00 for this last visit. He fixed several things for me. There was a horrendous leak underneath the sink and he had to replace all of the piping that had rusted through. My house is 46 years old. Before that he replaced all the plumbing in my sink area. It was little more the first visit because he had to go to the home improvement store twice. At first I thought it was the disposal leaking. I had told him to get a good disposal. He came out here with the new one and it wasn't even that. The leak was behind the disposal and it was the pipes. He spent a good bit of time on that. He is great and he is honest. That is the main thing. He gave me a whole sheet filled with what all he does. He is truly a handyman. He fixed a shower head which my son had put on. He showed me where my son had tightened it too tight and broken it. He told me it wasn't the shower per se at all but a little piece that he said he would get from the home improvement store and replace rather than replacing the whole shower head. He was able to find the tiny replacement and he replaced it. That saved me a lot of money. He is very polite, he is honest, he is thorough, and he is on time. You can count on him. He is excellent. He is educated and knows what he is doing. He is good. He doesn't mess around timewise. His price is excellent. If I had had a regular plumber out here, it would have cost me a lot more because plumbers are very expensive. His work is guaranteed. If you called him the next day and told him there was a leak where he had worked on, he would be back and he wouldn't charge you. I can't find anything wrong with him. He retired and got into this work. He was into office work prior to that. He is very intelligent and he stands out. He is just tops. He is well educated, well dressed, clean, and smart."

"Ok. but there was poor communication from the office. The plumber did not arrive as quickly as expected. Also, the plumber was not wearing a mask and did not offer to wear a mask even though we had ours on."

"James was punctual, extremely fastidious, kept me informed of progress, did a beautiful job of re-glazing and re-caulking and cleaned up without any residual mess. He explained and gave me written instructions for care of the new surface. I will ask specifically for him when reglazing of another bathtub."

"I contacted several plumbers this day and Mr. Craig was the only one that returned my call. Once I told him the problem he told me a time and a price and he was there to fix the problem. I really appreciated the fact that he was on time and very professional. I would definitely be using this company again."

"Hired Jason to come a couple of days prior to the removal of old and installation of new kitchen countertop. Kitchen cabinet was an appliance garage that interfered with countertop installation. Countertop installers would not touch cabinets due to liability issues. I spoke to Jason on the phone and explained what I needed done and the timing of it. Jason scheduled a couple days prior to countertop install to remove the cabinets and scheduled the day after to reinstall the cabinets. Jason showed up on-time both days to do the job. However, because of the difference in thickness between the old and new countertops there were gaps at the bottom and sides of the cabinet. Since my wife didn't really want the bottom part of the cabinet (appliance garage) anyway, I ask Jason if it was possible to cut off the bottom and make it match up with the other cabinets so I didn't have to buy all new cabinets. He said he could easily do it and it would look nice and line up with the other cabinets and we would not know that the bottom was cut off. He needed to come back another day with the proper tools and saw. I agreed and he rescheduled to come back. He arrived again on-time and started modifying the cabinet and reinstall it. When he was done it looked great. More importantly, when my wife returned from work that evening and saw the completed work she was so excited how nice it all looked. So great job Jason and thanks!"

"In June I decided that I needed to spruce up the garage so I called Dunn Home Improvements (DHI). They installed additional lighting in the garage, hung shelving that I had bought at a flea market and installed 4 additional electrical outlets plus an additional outlet on my deck.  They had all of these items completed by the time I came home from work.  Now I have an orderly garage where I can actually find what I?m looking for!  I have used DHI for several years now and I plan on using them for many more.  They do great work, provide great customer service all at an affordable price.

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

Continuous feed garbage disposals are the favorite model for many homeowners for a reason. As opposed to batch feed models, add food scraps to the drain whenever the disposal is running. This variety is also typically less expensive, more convenient, and easier to clean.

If your garbage disposal powers up and you can hear it hum, but the arms inside aren’t moving, the problem might be a stubborn clog, a build-up of grease, or a jam of the impeller plate. To troubleshoot these, ensure your unit is off and disconnected from its power source before checking inside the drain or attempting to manually rotate the impeller arms or plate from the underside of the unit. A hex wrench can help.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. The problem lies in the solution because you can’t easily see clogs if they’re inside the system, and reaching in to dislodge stuck items is a risky proposal. Call a pro and ask what they would do, but if you can’t see the clog easily, and running the unit won’t free it, you need to let a professional handle the fix.
