"The owner, John, was very responsive and courteous when I called. He was able to rearrange his schedule to get someone to give a bid/service call. The plumber, Josh, was on time and gave a straight-forward explanation of the service needed. He had to leave to get a few supplies (while the hourly rate was running). He returned about a half hour later and did the repair. He did not clean up after the job and left the old pipes for me to dispose of. I was charged for 1.5 hours of labor for about a 30-45 minute job plus his trip to the supply house. Furthermore, there was a $95 fee to just send the truck. Total cost of the job was $356. I would not hire this company again."

"I contacted Marc to get a bid to do the work and he came out very quickly. I especially liked that he explained the entire process to us. The work was done as part of a complete bathroom remodel, so the actual scheduling was done by my contractor. I wanted the tile to be glazed before the new cabinets, counter, toilet, etc. were installed, and Marc was able to coordinate with the contractor to make this happen. Marc and his assistant arrived on time and were able to complete the work in one day. Most importantly, the walls came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! We are extremely happy with the work. "Smooth as could be from call to completion.  For $279 (Angie's List deal) they came in and reglazed our nasty old tub to a sparkling white new finish.  It was fast, too. Our old tub had been flaking and chipping - it looks BRAND NEW.  The one note of caution that I would say is the smell is AWFUL.  Thankfully, we have an attic fan and a bathroom fan.  It took about 2-3 days before going into the bathroom didn't knock you out. :)  The installer cautioned not to use bathmats on the tub anymore, since they could suction up the coating I guess.  There are options for non-slip aids though.

"My wife and I own a home that was built in 1898. When we were soliciting bids for a LONG OVERDUE bathroom remodel, I had cast a pretty wide net on Angie's List trying to find a contractor with experience working with old homes, and someone I felt that we could trust. I found that contractor with Dunn Home Improvements.
Josh Dunn and his brother, Mike, began work on our bathroom renovation on a Monday morning. Upon entering the home, they laid down drop cloths and stair savers to keep from tracking in - and out - debris and general construction mess through the house. The demolition took a half day, and everything was carefully removed, and very meticulously cleaned. Color me impressed!
The rest of the project flew by, with Josh and Mike framing in the bathroom, running electric, plumbing, et cetera. The first week ended with leveling compound on the floor, set to cure and level out what was quite possibly the most un-even floor in our old home -- mission accomplished! The second week buttoned up with a beautiful tile job, painting, and installation of cabinets. We finally had a bathroom that we could be proud of. The transformation was complete!
