"Everything went fine. The bid was competitive, I was able to pay a portion in cash and finance the remainder on favorable terms. The crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. They had a difficult task in removing the old air handler from a shelf in a small closet area. So far, everything seems to be working fine."

"They have worked for me for a few years. I am extremely impressed with them, and especially Ronnie. That sytem finally wore out and Peters put in a new system. It is now about 1 yr old and still running better than the other one ever did. We had a problem with the Church I attend for 30 years, several companies worked on it, and we only had a bill and the problem was'nt fixed. Ronnie new the problem within 15 minutes. These guys are really good! With wrokmanship and price."

"Bad, they only went 1-2 foot into the vent hole in the wall when supposedly cleaning the duct work. They didn't clean anything but the vent hole nothing else. I had as much if not more dust coming out of the vents after they were done. Tried calling but no call back from the company so I just gave up"

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To unclog an air duct, you’ll need to hire an air duct specialist to clean the ductwork. Air ducts are too tricky for a homeowner to access without special equipment, so a pro must thoroughly clear out a clog caused by dust and dirt buildup. However, if furnishings block your air ducts, you can move the furniture away from the vents to get the system to work correctly again.

Ductwork should be thoroughly cleaned at least every three to five years. An air duct cleaning specialist will need to clean and inspect the ductwork for any leaks or other damage. You can also help keep the air ducts clean by changing out air filters every 30 to 90 days.

Your floor sees a lot of action: foot traffic bringing in dirt from outside, pets with muddy paws, kids dropping food crumbs, and more. All of this makes your floors dirty, and if you don’t keep up with cleaning them, staying on top of the dirt will become more challenging.

If one room is significantly colder than the others, closing the air vents in the warmer rooms may seem like a way to redirect airflow. However, closing air vents is usually not a good idea. When the vents are blocked, your HVAC system will have to work harder, leading to higher energy bills and potentially shortening the life of the system.

No, a vent is where an HVAC duct enters into a room to deliver conditioned air, and a damper is a valve that can open and close to restrict airflow to the vents throughout your home. Some HVAC vents have manual dampers on them that let you control the airflow to specific areas of your HVAC system, but dampers can also appear on the hidden ductwork or near your air handler for more precise temperature control and energy efficiency in your ductwork.
