Everything went fine. The bid was competitive, I was able to pay a portion in cash and finance the remainder on favorable terms. The crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. They had a difficult task in removing the old air handler from a shelf in a small closet area. So far, everything seems to be working fine.

They came assessed the issue with the furnace and made the proper adjustment in fairly short period of time.

It was just additional time over the standard cleaning for each experience and probably about an hour for the labor. Just one person. I have been working with them for years.

They are very responsive, reasonable, we trust them.

It was fine, we weren't without an air conditioner, we were still in the cooling season, we knew it had to be replaced. It took an day and and a half to complete. They were perfect. Everything was great, we really like them. The workers are fine.

Degenhardt did a great job.  They were on time and finished the installation in one day.

It was an older furnace and needed a part replaced. They needed the part, so they rigged it up to last until they got it. They then got next day and installed the day after.

They have great service.  If they are running late, they will call you. Everyone from the office staff to the people who come to do the work are very nice.

This company was recommended to me by a friend.  They did some work for me last fall when I was having problems getting enough heat to my family room.  They corrected that problem beautifully, so called them again to look at my air conditioning system.  This is my first summer in the house, so wanted everything to work well.  Dan checked the cooling operation, cleaned the conderser coils, cleaned all drains, and replaced freon.  Was very happy with the experience.

The service person showed up on time, did the job, and added in a little bit of service I wasn't expecting. I have also used them before, since 2007, for much larger projects. I will only call Degenhardt in the future. They are completely professional and likeable.

Estimate was higher than some estimates and lower than others. Installation was fine except for the pad installation for the AC compressor. It was not suitable for the site of the compressor. I contacted the company and the compressor was reset.

Degenhardt Heating had previously serviced our HVAC system for normal maintenance. They were one of several companies that we contacted to obtain an estimate. We learned that our AC was leaking freon and did not know if the freon refill would last the whole summer, plus the tax incentives and rebate were to be had we decided to replace our 20 year old HVAC system. We went with them due to our previous experience and the price differential between them and other contractors. The workmen were always polite, although bit on the gruff side (not that it matters just FYI). The install took most of the day as changes had to be made, a new exhaust outlet for example. When finished the layout of wiring and piping was improved considerably. The reason for the B quality rating is due to the fact that the fan went out during the first week. The lack of AC was not discovered until late in the day. I proceeded to call their emergency number and left a message. They promptly called the next morning and sent a service technician that afternoon. He replaced the fan with a temporary fan so that we would still have AC due to their supplier being out of a replacement. Once replaced with the correct fan, the system has run smoothly since.

Degenhardt was prompt throughout the project from estimating to the final walk-through of the project. They did not try to up charge the air conditioning and heating units for the second story addition. Original estimate was great, final bill increased slightly due to changes in the project (moving walls). Workers showed up on time (project took ten months) and reviewed scope of work before starting. Only complaint was clean-up issues.

I HAVE AN OLD HOUSE, AND THE BASEMENT CEILING IS CLUTTERED WITH HOT WATER HEATING LINES, GAS LINES, WATER LINES, ETC. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF THREADING THIS MESS WITHOUT FURTHER OBSTUCTING THE HEAD ROOM.
