I am currently renting out my home in Webster Groves. The tenant hired a mold inspector who found mold in the vents. I began calling companies in St. Louis to clean my vents. I contacted numerous companies to gain more knowledge of the cleaning process and to get quotes. Caleb Lambert of STL Air Duct Cleaning surpassed my expectations in terms of the information he provided. He explained what was happening and the methods to rectify the situation. He also quoted a price that was 50% less than other companies. I hired STL Air Duct Cleaning, and they were able to complete the job within a few days.
Since the cleaning, I have had several questions regarding mold. I called Caleb, and he very patiently answered my questions and gave me appropriate suggestions. Furthermore, he has gone above and beyond when a situation with my tenants arose. He is compassionate about his job and his company. He runs his family business with integrity and dignity.

They were late getting here, but when they got here they were really nice and we tried to follow them around the house in case they needed furniture moved. It took so long that I was frustrated, they got here at 10am and didn't leave until 8:30pm. They said that it took so long because the house was so old and probably never cleaned before and that the ducts were so full and had to stop constantly and clean out their filters. They had problems with the cold air returns and had to cut holes in the basement ducts so they could clean them, and then covered them with metal and taped shut. They did a good job on that and it was a necessary fix. Also in the basement, they covered up some of the ducts so that more cool air/ heat would get to the upstairs. Out of 13 cold air ducts, there are 10 that have been scratched, some so bad its down to the metal. One of them is so bad that now I have to take samples into the paint store and pay for paint to fix it, and that room was just painted. They were scratched and since they removed them they don't fit back quite right. We are going to have to have them repainted. I did tell them I wasn't concerned with the first floor ducts being scratched because they will need to be repainted anyway, but they don't fit right back onto the wall. They also knocked chips of plaster off in the dining room and they never said a word to me about it.

The two gentlement that arrived were courteous, explained what was to be done. And set to cleaning the systems. Arrival was on time (noted above), I thought the price fair. I hadn't asked what the cost would be but figured it out about right. I would call them again, and recommend the company to my friends. They really had a big job since it had been 12 years since this was done and that time by one of the "specials" price group. Who was there barely an hour. I feel secure that the system is going to do its job as expected. I learned lots about what needs to be done to maintain the current status. Since I have many cats, they really had their work cut out for them. I am so glad I checked with Angie's List first before contacting a cleaning company

I was preparing to have Harster install an AprilAire Model 5000 electrostatic and paper media whole house air filter and wanted to start with clean ducts. Harster recommended St Louis Air Duct Cleaning to me. I had had the ducts cleaned before by someone else and wanted a more thorough job this time. Caleb of St Louis Aid Duct Cleaning spoke with me about each one of my concerns about my particular venting situation. In addition to cleaning the air ducts they took time to discuss some other subjects with me. I think they are the kind of people we should support with our business. They are not part of a huge chain; I like supporting local businesses.
