"Our sunroom is built on a slab of concrete. It began taking in water between the concrete slab and the walls. Josh Rae came out gave us a bid for Polyurea product which was $1000 cheaper than an epoxy coating which will yellow in 5 years plus came with a 15 year transferrable warranty! The installation crew was knowledgeable and did a great job. I would hire them for any other work in a heartbeat."

Mop with warm water and scrub away stains using a mild cleaning solution that's safe for the epoxy product you have installed. Don't use any soap-based or chemical cleaners, as these can cause the epoxy surface to deteriorate more rapidly.

Yes, using low VOC and water-based coatings to reduce environmental impact.

If your concrete stains are green in color, it indicates the presence of mold or algae—which you should address right away. If left unattended, mold will spread to other areas throughout the home. However, be careful not to disturb mold on indoor concrete surfaces and work with a local mold remediation specialist for specialized care. Once free from mold and algae, seal your concrete to eliminate pores and gaps.

In most cases, yes, sealing concrete will stop spalling. However, it’s not a perfect solution—it may only delay spalling. Call your local concrete repair contractor for quotes on the best sealing options to prevent spalling.

When done properly, it can make the stain look darker and deeper. However, it’s important to evenly wet the floor and let it dry before applying the stain.
