"I did not like using a shower curtain and wanted to add a glass shower door. Charlie Gore was a consummate professional. He is pleasant and spent a lot of time with me analyzing my shower opening and helping me order online, (from any store), the best door for my situation. The installer was also polite, had attention to detail and cleaned up properly. Both gentlemen were on-time and followed up days after the installation to assure that I was satisfied with their services. AMAZING COMPANY & HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! A+++++++"

Customers say: True professional

"My contractor was Deep Rooted Flooring and our contact was Christian. We were contacted by him and discussed replacing a floor around the commode in the bathroom. I asked him to view the project and give us an estimate. He was very quick with his estimate and made us aware of work that needed to be done in the adjacent room because of the deteriorated floor. He didn’t Pressure us or anything about the extra work, he just made us aware of the condition with a description and pictures. It was our decision to go ahead with The additional work. The estimate came in at a reasonable price. He was at the job site at the time he said and completed the job quickly. He was knowledgeable About flooring and the type that should be used. He was cordial and answered all of our questions. We were very satisfied with the job as completed, in fact They did a couple of additional items we did not expect. I would recommend him for any flooring work and give him your highest rating. Tommy Combs"

"Livingroom kitchen 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms all had the ceilings cut open around HVAC vents that had mildew. Once HVAC was replaced all celings had to be closed back up and all room ceilings had to be painted. Work took 4 days. Workers were prompt and efficient and cleaned up each day"

"Province Roofing quickly answered my emergency call for replacement of rotted fascia. Roland wasted no time in quoting same day, bringing quality materials next day, and organizing his qualified team(s) to get the job done well and quickly. This included removal/disposal of the exterior rotted boards (50'), repair of rotted interior pieces, all painting, new drip edges, and even repair of an additional section. Gutter replacement was then able to finish, as well. I can't thank Roland and his teams enough for helping me get protection from storms back in place so quickly."

"Our project included a full kitchen remodel, complete flooring replacement, remodel of 3 bathrooms, painting and electrical work. Corky was very professional, cost conscious, punctual and delivered on our requirements. He offered design ideas that improved the remodel. Corky, Mike and the rest of the team are craftsmen, who understand how to solve the problems encountered in a project of this size. They have been a pleasure to work with. The results of the project are outstanding. We look forward to working with Corky and his team in the future and we would highly recommend them to work on any project."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Start by gutting the old fixtures and features that need to be removed, such as the tile, vanity, and flooring. You may benefit by removing the toilet, even if you intend to use the same one. Next, install the new shower or tub, followed by the flooring, and then the drywall, which you should then paint. After that, install your new cabinets, vanity, countertop, sink, and faucet, in that order. Replace your light fixture next. Lastly, reconnect the toilet.

While tubs are fairly sturdy, you may notice cracks or holes. This kind of damage can happen from someone accidentally dropping something heavy into the tub. You might also see damage if you drop something heavy into the tub over and over again (like your extra large bottle of body wash). While you might only notice a small dent at first, this can later turn into a crack or a hole.

Also, certain cleaners that are harmful to your tub can cause damage. And if you have a fiberglass tub, you might see cracks if it was not installed properly with the right support.

The plumbing industry has standardized the sizes for bathtub drains. They are 1 1/2 inches wide to fit all standard bathtubs from 14 to 26 inches deep. The standard sizing is to ensure that the drain fits into the P trap, a special part of your piping that prevents sewer water from bubbling up into your home (yuck).

Labor is the most expensive part of a bathroom remodel. If you’re doing a major remodel, structural changes (such as moving walls) and plumbing reconfiguration can be costly. For a standard remodel, the big-ticket items include tiles and new tub or shower fixtures.

It’s substantially less expensive to reglaze a tub than to replace it. The average cost of reglazing a bathtub is between $400 and $700, but that range may be higher based on where you live and the type of tub you have. Meanwhile, if you want to replace the bathtub, you’re looking at $2,000 to $9,400, with the average close to $5,700.
