"The service went well. Two technicians came out and completed the cleaning in an hour or two. They cleaned the bedroom, hallway and step carpets. The carpets looked pretty good after the service. I had no problem scheduling the deal."

"Richard did a wonderful job! He was very knowledgable, went the extra mile to remove a spot for me in another room. The carpets look, feel and smell as great as they were when they were installed. Advantage Carpet Cleaners will now be my go-to for any carpet cleaning I do in the future."

"I have windows professionally cleaned annually, so, I know what to expect. First off, the cleaning job was good. The windows were, as expected, clear, clean, & spotless. I have no complaints about the look of the windows after the job was completed. However, the professionalism needs some improvement. Dave's attire was really quite sloppy and he wanted to discuss politics. He tried to engage me in this sort of conversation a few times, but, I tried to keep the discussion to a minimum. I find this topic very divisive and personal. Another issue was the dirt and dust that he cleaned from the window seals ended up on my floors and/or furniture next to the windows. I think he used my bathroom sink to discard or rinse something, but, didn't wipe the sink afterwards so it was dirty/gritty. Lastly, the window screen above my kitchen sink was not secured properly after it was cleaned, so it's hanging out a bit, and I'm going to have to wrestle with a ladder to fix it."

"I work (a lot) and don't always get the house picked up so they can do a simple cleaning.  I have had cleaners who complained about that.   Scrubby Dutch people don't complain, they do a great job moving things out of the way, or doing whatever they can.  I am perfectly happy with what they do and very, very happy they accept it as it is.
I have found them to be flexible (cancelling for me sometimes if I need it ---some cleaners want a fixed amount per month ), moving days around if I need it, etc.
I get pretty much the same team all the time, which I like.
The company doesn't allow them to take gratuities, except during these holidays, which makes things easier for all of us.
Their cost is very reasonable.
In 8 years, I've never seen anything missing.  They did break 2 things over 8 years, and told me about both.  One was an old catfood tray and I forget what the other was, but neither were important.  I liked that they left me a note about it.
Theyhave always been reliable and done a good job.

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

Since marble is a porous material, it is more prone to water spots than other countertop options. Fortunately, pure water doesn’t damage your marble, but if the water is acidic, it can cause stains or water spots. Resealing throughout the year can help increase marble’s water resistance, too.

The frequency for sealing marble countertops depends on several factors, including the quality and color of the stone, the type of sealant used, and the amount of traffic the surface receives. Marble has a porous surface that requires sealing to maintain its shine and resist scratches. As a general rule, you should seal countertops at least once a year. However, for heavily used surfaces, like those in a busy kitchen or family bathroom, you may need to reseal them every three to six months. Conversely, countertops in a rarely used guest bathroom might only need resealing every few years.

In many cases, it’s worth it to restore stone. Stone restoration generally costs less than replacing the stone entirely, helping to save on the cost of your project while still giving your home’s stone a polished appearance. However, if your stone is very cracked or crumbling to the point of compromising the structural integrity of your home, you may want to consider replacing it. Stone flooring costs range from $6 to $20 per square foot on average.

Silestone® is a low-maintenance countertop material, but certain things, like strong chemicals and solvents, can cause damage. Abrasive scrubs can cause scratches, and products that contain oil or powder can leave a residue. Finally, avoid letting oven cleaner come into contact with Silestone® because it can cause discoloration.

Acid can seriously damage granite countertops and lead to etching and erosion. This is why cleaning with vinegar isn’t recommended. Other acidic items that you should keep away from your granite countertops include:

  • Citrus

  • Acetone nail polish remover

  • Tomatoes

  • Ammonia

In addition, always steer clear of using bleach on or around your granite as it will degrade the countertop’s sealant quickly.
