"Josh did some custom carpentry work for us, as well as some very technically challenging steel tapping for a circular jig attached to a motor. He did a fantastic job. The steel tapping was something I had basically given up on ever fixing, but he was able to do it!"

"I hired another company only because they offered plumbing services that I needed done in addition to the painting job. However, the professionalism of Chad, the estimator, was very impressive, as was his presentation of their services and his expertise and suggestions on the best paint products. In addition, I was impressed with the company policy of background checks, uniform policy for employees and their level of liability coverage to protect homeowners. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future and recommend their services."

"They did an amazing job! I needed my whole house repainted, they came in gave me a bid, and after I hired them, they were done 3 days earlier than expected. I have another house that needs done and will absolutely be hiring this crew again for the work!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, paint thinner can damage some surfaces. Specifically, it can cause a lot of damage to laminate flooring if applied incorrectly.

While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros.

Some methods of removing paint from metal that use physical force, like scraping or grinding, may damage the metal. Other methods like chemical strippers or acids are unlikely to damage the metal underneath, but take care using any method to strip paint to minimize the chance of damage.

Removing paint from brick can have both aesthetic and practical value. Some people prefer the timeless look of bare brick, making it worthwhile to remove old paint layers. Brick also lasts longer when unpainted, as paint traps moisture, causing the brick to deteriorate more quickly. If your brick walls are already in bad shape, stripping the paint off might do more harm than good.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.
