"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. Now, I am confident that it wasn't a leak and caused by putting in the dishes in a funny manner and not a repair issue. I am using the dishwasher now again with no problem. 3. I determined with Thomas' help that the washing machine had a major problem and could have spun out of control into my wall....no question, it was time to get a new washing machine! This was a well spent $40.00--I even got Thomas advice on purchasing a new washing machine and what to look for. 4. I checked the drainage on my kitchen sink and learned how to empty out the "trap" and that most likely, I am okay, but what to swap out if I have continuing issues with slow drainage. In the end, I saved lots of money, gaining and learning valuable experience! Absolutely fabulous service!"

"Perfect job! First time they came out they determined the problem was in the gasline encased in stonework. Recommended getting a stonemason to chip away the rock, expose the line. Lined up the stonemason and phoned Jamison to make the appointment. Owner of company told me he would personally come out at the time of the stonemason to make sure no more stone than necessary removed. He did so. After rock removed, one of Jamison's plumbers came out, replaced the gasline (obstructed w/years of corrosion) and replace the ignition switch, reassembled the burner and ignited the pit. This company has first class workers and know what they are doing! Highly recommend for complicated jobs, such as this one! Thanks!

"It was great. We just haven't done anything at all with it. The responsiveness of the guy was very good. I think it was just not quite what we were looking for. It wasn't that their price was really high. I think it was just the price that we decided. Instead of just redoing the whole thing. we decided to do a fraction of it. The quote was about $5000. Their professionalism is great. We just need the plumbing redone and then that little section re-tiled. I don't think they would do just a little bit. With ReBath, they do the whole system."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

As homes age in Malden, older galvanized and cast iron pipes corrode and restrict water flow. Shifting clay soils also crack underground sewer lines. If your property experienced past flooding, expect accelerated pipe damage. Inspect older properties for deteriorating polybutylene lines before starting plumbing upgrades. Always flush your water heater to remove sediment buildup from the municipal water supply to keep your system running smoothly.

Helpful?

Your home’s foundation heavily impacts plumbing repairs in Malden. Slab foundations force contractors to cut through concrete to access underground drain lines. Pier-and-beam foundations or crawl spaces expose pipes to extreme humidity and pest damage. Single-story ranch layouts feature long horizontal drain runs that develop severe clogs over time. Check past home additions for mismatched pipe materials, and inspect structural elements for hidden flood damage before opening walls.

Helpful?

A major mistake during plumbing renovations in Malden is skipping required permits. Homeowners overlook root intrusion in sewer laterals and underestimate hidden flood damage behind walls. Never connect incompatible metals, like galvanized steel and copper, without proper fittings. Always insulate pipes in crawl spaces to prevent winter freezing. Verify your property connects to the municipal sewer rather than a private septic system before starting any disposal line repairs.

Helpful?

When planning plumbing projects, always account for MO state codes and obtain required permits before starting work. For properties in flood zones or areas with high water tables, protect below-grade installations against water damage. Account for seasonal soil movement by properly bedding underground lines. Test private well water for agricultural runoff. Schedule a licensed professional well in advance, as rural areas experience longer wait times for specialized services.

Helpful?

Completing plumbing work in MO requires multiple visits when projects involve mandatory permits and state inspections. Opening walls reveals severely deteriorated cast iron or galvanized pipes that demand immediate replacement. Rural locations face limited specialty parts availability, forcing professionals to order components. Exterior excavation pauses due to dense clay soils and high groundwater levels, requiring extra time for the ground to stabilize before backfilling.
