"Chris was very quick to return my calls and work up a bid for me. His prices were way lower than the other bids I received and he didn't hesitate to tell me he was giving me a good deal :) Once I called to schedule, Chris and his crew came out within a couple of weeks. The first time they came, I had left all the windows open and they couldn't work. Chris called me and didn't seem to mind rescheduling for the next day. The first day of work involved powerwashing everything. This was definitely a messy process, and all loose items were moved away from the house/fence when I returned home that evening. Whoever washed the underside of my deck didn't take any special care to relocate a nest and ended up killing all of the baby birds, which made me kind of sad. After I returned home that evening, my neighbor came over to complain that the volume of water involved had messed up his lawn. I called Chris for advice, and he seemed really offended that my neighbor had complained. He clearly knows his trade, and the effects of the powerwashing process. I had no doubt that my neighbor was overreacting, but Chris didn't make any moves towards resolving the complaint with my neighbor, leaving me to deal with a very irate man the next day. Finally after some more back-and-forth, Chris went down to the hardware store and bought a rake to clean up the neighbor's yard a bit. I ended up having to plant some grass and it turned into a big thing. The second day, the crew came back and applied stain and sealant. Part of the reason this company's prices are so low is that they spray on their stain rather than brushing it on. The only place this is noticeable is underneath the deck and between the floor boards. The deck, fence and house look so much better now, the difference really is amazing! I love that the water beads up on the wood instead of soaking in and creating mold. Overall, the quality of the work was excellent. What Chris and his crew lacked in professionalism and tidiness was made up for by the excellent price. I would definitely hire Cedar Specialist again to do work for me."

"Everything went really well considering we were not planning to replace flooring in the kitchen or installing a new sliding glass door. Our initial intent was to replace/fix the grout in the kitchen that was cracking and coming up. However upon further review it was discovered that the tile had not been appropriately laid initially. When removing the tile from the kitchen we found that our sliding glass door had been leaking and there was damage to our floor and the door needed to be replaced. Very happy with the results overall.

"The CHW Tech was unable to connect the air condition to the Nest thermostat because it was not registering but he was able to provide us with cool air until the previous HVAC company was able to come and fix the system the next day. I had to pay the CHW Tech for the entire service but was reimbursed by the original company that installed the furnace because they knew that this was their error."
