"Kemoy is amazing! He has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of plumbing. He was very fair on price and did an excellent job. He installed a new water heater for me. While he was there at no extra charge he checked all the plumbing in the house to see if there were any other issues. He found one! The kitchen sink had been leaking at the p-trap. He fixed that at no cost. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic professional plumber!"

"Branson, Mo. is where work was done. Company has a great attitude and seems more interested in taking care of the customer instead of making a buck. Here is how this happened. I wanted my air ducts cleaned because I had a water leak and after the clean up (I did myself, which I will never do again. To much stress trying to figure it out. Should have just hired a pro.) I wanted to make sure if there was any mold that the ducts were clear/clean of mold spurs. The company that I was going to have clean the ducts wanted a Pro to inspect the area before he would send a crew out to clean the ducts. So, I wound up getting David from Green Planet Mold to come out and inspect the affected area. His office was great keeping me informed on when he was coming out and David himself stayed in contact as well. David showed up, looked the area over and said he did not find any signs of suspected fungal growth in the bathroom and laundry room. My elderly mother lives with me and my wife, so this was a relief. He gave me some tips on some other things I should do, how to do it and what products to use. In fact, he made another trip to the house to drop of some non-toxic professional cleaner to help finish up the job. When I asked him about doing a test so I could get a company to come out and clean the ducts he said the test was not necessary and I was spending unnecessary money. He also recommended a company to clean the ducts and said he would call them personally and have them get in touch with me. That all happened and the company that is cleaning the ducts, LCS Kleene Aire, will be here in 4 days to complete the job. Although the work is not finished yet, I am a lot closer then I was a week ago and have some peace of mind that the health of my family is being taken care of. Lesson learned from all this. Hire a pro from the beginning. Yeah, I may have saved some money, but at what possible cost. I would have avoided the stress and lost sleep, not to mention all the time I spent doing the job and worrying about doing right. Thank you Homeadvisor for connecting me with Green Planet Mold and also Green Planet Mold for the advice and referrals."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Trenchless sewer replacements are actually a great solution for sewer lines located under concrete. A professional can still sleeve and burst old piping to make room for a new one without having to dig up your slab.

There are warning signs that your copper pipes may be failing. These include discolored water, decreased water pressure, visible cracks and leaks, built-up green rust, and corrosion. If you know the copper pipes are reaching the end of their life span, consider having them replaced or at least having a professional assess your plumbing system.

The cost to unclog a drain varies based on the location and severity of the clog. For simple clogs within your home, such as in a sink, toilet, or shower, hiring a plumber typically costs between $110 and $350, with an average of around $200. Snaking a toilet or sink usually costs between $110 and $275, while a bathtub or shower clog costs about $225.

For a more serious clog in the main sewer line, the cost is higher. Clearing a main line clog generally costs between $200 and $600, with an average of about $380. However, prices can range from as low as $100 for snaking a minor clog to over $1,600, particularly if advanced methods like video inspection and hydrojetting are needed for a large or hard-to-reach blockage. Some severe main line clogs can cost upwards of $1,000 to clear depending on factors like the cause of the clog, its distance from an accessible cleanout, and whether the pipe is located beneath an occupied space (e.g., in an apartment building). You may be able to save money on minor clogs by using a drain snake or bladder yourself.

Frozen pipes can negatively affect your hot water heater. If the pipes leading to or from your hot water heater freeze and burst, as can happen with frozen pipes, your water heater can be seriously damaged and even require replacement. In less extreme cases, frozen pipes can compromise or cut off your hot water supply.

In most cases, a dripping faucet will not stop on its own. Dripping usually occurs because of a failed cartridge or broken washers. Normal wear and tear eventually runs these parts down and causes the faucet to drip when you've already shut off your sink. Replacing the cartridge or washer should fix the problem.
